Questions & Answers

What is the difference between an air bag and a foam bag?

This is a HARD foam target that compresses. BUY IT ONLY IF YOU ARE GOING TO USE IT ONCE IN A WHILE. As you can see from previous posts, this thing doesn't last very long when used on a regular basis by adults.

What is the height of the structure?

Between the heights of five and six feet It only lasted a day before it broke. It's not something you should buy.

Is it necessary to punch the punching bag with air?

There isn't any air. It sponch sponch sponch sponch sponch sponch spo This is excellent for people of all ages. Placing is a lot of fun. It is my preferred design, and I intend to purchase it. It's a fantastic purchase. However, fill the bottom base with a 5 gallon watter from Mayb. br>After filling the base with water, do not sit on top of it. After a long period of time, such as a year, the side wall may be damaged, causing water to leak. So don't sit or stand on top of the foundation.

Is it suitable for the practice of martial arts?

It's only good for warm-ups and cardio; it's not up to the task of hard training.

Everlast's freestanding punching bag models, both new and old
4/5

In 2015, we placed our first order for an Everlast freestanding punching bag. It didn't last forever, but it did last for about 5 years before the plastic base broke. Their new Everlast Flex model has just replaced it. The old model's plastic base was clearly a design flaw, so I'm interested to see how it holds up under pressure now that it's all metal. To the person who wrote the water leaks from the foundation - Before screwing the base on, make sure the small black cap is in place.

Excellent delivery - I've tried this product, as well as the more basic Everlast version, with only "so so" results, so perhaps there isn't a perfect "reflex bag" out there
3/5

The Hyperflex has the appearance of barley holding together - Despite the fact that everything is cinched up. (After only two sessions, the everlast lettering began to come off the bag. ) It is nearly impossible to disassemble the parts after they have been assembled. It's a bit of a letdown.

Within three weeks of purchase, the item was broken
3/5

At first, the product was fantastic in every way. The Hyperflex does exactly what it says it will, and it's a lot of fun to use. The actual punching bag (held up by springs) began to sag at a 45-degree angle after about a week and a half. I had no idea anything like this was possible because I used the product and kept it to use. When it left my hand to lock the springs, the knob attached was beginning to crack free of tightening, and it wasn't doing any damage at all to it. The bag continued beyond its normal expected range at this point, and I realized it was flying at me, along with the still attached jagged top pole. Thankfully, regular use of the bag had improved my hand-eye coordination to the point where I was able to grab the bag by the protruding jagged pole before it flipped in the middle of the flight. a flight that would almost certainly have resulted in injury br>br>It seems absurd to me that Everlast would use the cheapest/thinnest metal for the top portion, which inadvertently receives the most stress from impacts during use. Furthermore, the springs degraded far too quickly. I'm serious. A week? Come on, Everlast, I expected a lot more from you. br> br>br>It's too long; Have you forgotten to read? br>br>Within three weeks of use, the Hyperflex broke. The top pole snapped in half, and the jagged pole that resulted was hurled in my direction. br>br>I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT.

Anger and Stress Reducing Supplement - In addition, the quality is excellent
4/5

It cost BI_ _ H to fill with sand, but it was well worth it. br>I've smacked this thing around a lot with my boys, and it's held up well. br>br>Filling suggestion. br>Grab a SMALL oil funnel, tilt the base to the side, and gently pour the sand into the funnel. To prevent the funnel from backing up, insert the funnel's neck as far as possible into the opening. If you want to avoid clumping, use KILN DRIED sand. It took us about 30 minutes to fill it, but it was well worth the effort. If you're using it in the garage or basement, simply fill it with water. If it's sitting in the corner of the living room, it's not a good idea to fill it this way in case it leaks. br>However, if you DO fill it with water and it leaks all over your significant other's brand-new carpet - Could I make a suggestion?

HORRIBLE INTERIOR DESIGN! If you intend to fill this bag with sand to make it heavier, don't buy it
3/5

The design is so stupidly HORRIBLE that the sand does not go down in a straight line, but rather through four side chambers, the top part of which is 3 inches from the hole, causing the sand to get stuck, requiring you to keep shaking and putting one ounce of sand into the hole at a time! This bag's designer is someone I'd love to meet! He or she only had one task: Create a base that can be easily filled with either water or sand!! br>If you fill it with water (as I did at first), it will most likely leak after a short period of time due to normal use (as mine did)!.

The third time I used it, it broke
3/5

My third use of this piece of equipment resulted in it breaking. I had only been working on it for about an hour when the metal bar snapped in half. When the screw used to adjust the height broke after my second use, it began to deteriorate. I'm not a big guy, and I'm not particularly strong or a trained boxer, so when the thing just bent in half during my workout, I was taken aback. Fortunately, I was able to fix it by adding an aluminum bar to the inside for support, which has worked well so far. However, I am no longer able to adjust the settings to the other modes, which is the bag's primary function, but to be honest, I didn't think they worked very well anyway. The standard setting with the top spring locked and the bottom spring unlocked was all I used. This isn't even close to being worth $100, and don't make the same mistake I did by buying it because of my faith in the Everest brand; I have other Everest products that work flawlessly, but this isn't one of them.

It is simple to use and put together, but it moves slowly
3/5

It was delivered quickly and was very simple to put together. The water tank was not the same as the previous model. The container fills to the sides rather than being a hollow tank; I'm not sure if this makes a difference. Great for training; it moves slowly, but it aids in precision and defense.

It appeals to my tastes
3/5

but. The load is extremely light. This product appeals to me, and it can be used as a slip bag while also improving hand-eye coordination. but. It's been used three times now, and the main post is bent. Because of the curve or bend in the post, the height adjustment is pretty much stuck where it is.
