Our sons are 14 and 17 years old and we bought them for Christmas as a gift. It took us some time to glue the paddle handle back together after it separated. In fact, the handle of a second paddle broke off. Although we are not rough in playing, we have had other sets last for years. I do not know how these are made, but I suspect they won't last. In spite of looking for manufacturer support, we were unable to get in touch with N1Fit. A note about the update of N1Fit responded promptly to the problem and I was able to contact them. I am very happy with the customer service and the communication Dave provided. As a replacement, he sent me a completely new set to make up for the issues with the original The new set is yet to be used so I'm not sure what to expect, but I'm impressed with the responsiveness of Customer service was incredible and I am glad that all products were backed up by the company. Due to the price point for these paddles, I was expecting a cheap pair of paddles, but was blown away by the quality. I liked how solid and heavy the paddles were and how heavy they felt. I liked the smooth, comfortable feel of the handles. The padding on these 4 padded water bottles is great, and they hold up quite well. Eight balls are needed because at some point they will start going missing because we know they will become lost.
