There is a putt I use that works great when it's on, and can be frustrating when it's not. There are times when I simply "forget" to focus on one fixed point on the basket, and miss the left/high until I remember to refocus Once you focus on a chainlink, your putts are likely to be With this attached to my practice basket and going through 100+ putts with it, I noticed that my gaze was being fixed at the dot prior to each putt. Though I was skeptical on how this would actually help me on the course, since I can't take it with me to put on the basket, I actually found myself imagining where the dot would be, which helped me tremendously with my putting. The only difference I've seen in just a short time seems well worth the $12 your company charges. It's just a bit of plastic that fits snugly over chainlink, but you get two and the improvements you've seen are well worth the investment.
It is actually a very good training device. You can buy them in bright colors so they can be easily spotted, and they are also great training aids. Practice putting with this really gives you a good focus. There are many videos that emphasize how important it is to "aim small" so you won't miss, and these dots make that easier. In my practice I use two discs, stacked on the same chain with a couple links in between, and I determine my accuracy not by whether or not the throw goes in the basket, but rather by how close the discs are to the dots when they are placed in the basket. for beginners as it is compact and easy to use.
While there are no problems with the product, some chain links may not fit well with it. Although they can still be used, they will need to be set back on more frequently during practice due to their tendency to fall off.
I really like the concept. Smaller is the target, and smaller is the miss. The chains help a lot in getting into the mentality of aiming at a certain place within them. You're the best.
The putting aid is great!.
