Can a 16-pound ball be carried on this?

I bought it for my son, and he uses it to carry a 15-pound ball as well as his shoes, so I'm sure it'll work for a 16-pound ball as well.

This bag is one of my favorites. The bag's base, however, could be a little firmer. The sagging ball is due to its heavy weight. To keep the ball from sagging, all I have to do now is place a firm object under the pad. In addition, the bag's end pocket is big enough to fit my shoes in. I'm an 11-year-old woman. It's a size 5 shoe, and it's just right. It might be able to fit a size 12 shoe in it. However, if the size is too large, it might not zip. The front pocket is ideal for storing your phone, wallet, towel, and other small items. It has a shoulder strap as well. This is a bag that I recommend. Material is of good quality.
