I've dropped mine a few times and it's still in great shape. However, I wouldn't approach it as if it were a cloud-defensive OWL.
Although the lighting is different, the PL- Pro can be carried in a TLR holster. I've tried it with a variety of holster brands and have had no problems.

The PL-Pro gun light has been updated. PL- 2 employs the use of two CR123 batteries as well as the PL- The included magnetic charging cable can be used to recharge the Pro's built-in battery, which is also compatible with other Olight flashlights that use the MCC charging cable to recharge. In any light, some people, including myself, despise the built-in batteries. However, if there is a problem, Olight offers a two-year warranty.
PL- Where PL- uses Cree XHP35 HI neutral white LEDs with a maximum output of 1500 lumens, the Pro uses Cree XHP35 HI neutral white LEDs with a maximum output of 1500 lumens. At 1200 lumens, the number 2 is the maximum. TIR lens protects the LED bulb and produces a very tight, circular light pattern that can easily light up to 50 feet away. The light is labeled as neutral white, but it has a yellowish hue to it. Although some people dislike the yellowish tint, I find it to be more aesthetically pleasing. br>The light's runtime is about 45 minutes on high 1500 lumens (beam will drop to 600 lumens in about 2 minutes), which is very close to what the manufacturer stated. Dual ambidextrous switches make for a simple user interface. Double-clicking the switch while it is turned on will change the light setting from 1500 to 300 lumens, and pressing both switches at the same time will activate 1500 lumen strobes.
PL- The Pro features a Glock rail system as well as MIL-STD-1913 certification. STD- Adapter for 1913 rails. Without modifying the 1913 adapter, I was able to mount the light directly on my shotgun rail. The light can be equipped with a magnetic remote finger switch on the charging port, which makes it ideal for long guns due to its small profile and lack of weight. br>In general, this is a reliable and powerful light for handguns and long guns.
Fortunately, it works well as a rifle light, especially when mounted on a handguard at 9 o'clock; the switches on either side make it simple to operate, and you can quickly toggle between 1500 and 300 lumens to avoid damaging your walls. And it's incredibly easy to set up! Apart from swapping the glock rail adapter for a 1913-style rail, there are no other changes. You won't need any tools to attach or detach the light because it's styled with the included hex key. The lever's design is simple but effective, making it simple to find the ideal location for mounting it on your weapon. br>br>The best part is that it 'actually' works at the range when I fire my rifle. The light barely stutters, and it doesn't dim over time, thanks to the rechargeable battery, so I don't have to worry about running out of those pesky CR123 batteries. I'm very happy with it, and I'm looking forward to reviewing the more pistol-friendly PL MINI 2 once I've had a chance to use it on the range! Olight, you did a fantastic job! br>br>Note: If you're looking for a unique way to express yourself, try using the words "creative M- is the grade of my handguard. If your handguard does not have a 1913 Picatinny rail, you will need to purchase an adapter.
The product appears to be of excellent quality. aluminum construction of the highest caliber The fit is excellent; I have a few other lights from similar manufacturers that have a lot of play at the mount when applied lateral force. With this white and its quick-release mount, that is not the case. The only feature that I would have liked to see is the ability to set strobe to memory. When you first turn it on, you can set the memory too high or low, but strobe can only be turned on by simultaneously pressing both paddles. I'll update this review once we've taken it to the range and fired a few hundred rounds through it. Oh, and I adore the end result.
This OLIGHT is one of my favorites. It's made with great care and attention to detail. Buttons are very useful. I really like how quickly the mount can be detached. I really like how you can charge your phone without having to plug it in. br>br>A comparison to my 5-year-old Streamlight TLR - The Streatmlight has a much whiter color and is nearly as bright as the HL, which is rated at 800 LM. Yes, I had the OLIGHT fully charged and set to high mode. I still enjoy it, but given the rating, I was hoping for a little more brightness. It isn't brighter by a factor of two. br>br>Another thing to consider is the switch. The OLIGHT is a rock-solid machine that pushes on and pushes off. The Streamlight is a little easier to use because you flush down a paddle instead of pressing a button. It's more accessible, and it's more convenient for us. However, it is also more likely to be accidentally set off. The OLIGHT and the Streamlight are both excellent lights. They're incredibly solid and resemble each other more than they differ. They're also so popular that most holster manufacturers have a holster for each (an important factor to consider when purchasing less common lights). The OLIGHT is rechargeable, so there's no need to worry about that. It's fine for me 90 of the time because I'm always close to a charger and I'm not going anywhere for very long without power. However, if your battery runs out, you're out of luck. The streetlight is powered by two CR123 batteries, which last indefinitely. You only need to bring a few extras with you when you go out. br>br>Boy, that's a lot of br>br>br>br>br Which of the two appeals to me the most? It's the equivalent of selecting your favorite children. Maybe 51% OLIGHT/49% Streatmlight 51% OLIGHT OLIGHT OLIGHT OLIGHT OLIGHT It's only a hair's breadth away.

The paddle switches make it simple to switch between low, high, and strobe modes. The item is made of high-quality anodized aluminum with a beautiful finish. It is waterproof and can withstand the most severe abuse. br>br> I've used other light brands in the past, and I can confidently say that this is the best one I've found. Their customer service is unrivaled, their shipping is lightning fast, and they are always innovating and delivering products that the end user desires.
