Questions & Answers

Is it compatible with the P226 Sig Sauer? Is it necessary to have an adapter?

There is no need for an adapter. The small block can be romped into place on the rail. br>At the moment, I'm playing Daniel Defense m4 and I'm really enjoying it.

Is it compatible with the Sig Sauer 1911?

Which Sig Sauer 1911 are you talking about? There are eight active 1911 models from Sig, four of which include rails. That said, it fits on my sp2022 and p229, so it should fit the sig 1911 in theory, as long as it's not their proprietary sig rail. The width of the rail will tell you whether it is curved or flat.

Is there a way to make this work with a H?

Yes. It should be able to fit on a Heckler with ease. The Koch P30 is a sub compact design, but it is quite large. Have fun.

After you release the pressure switch, will the light stay on?

I was mistaken in my previous response. The pressure switch operates in this manner. br>Press the pressure switch quickly to keep it turned on, then press it again to turn it off. br>Alternatively, you can use it as a press ON/OFF switch. To turn it on, simply press it for a longer period of time (less than a second), and it will turn off when you release it. The side switches work in the same way. I hope this information is beneficial.

It should be left at home
4/5

Jack, I'm going to tell you the truth. Advantages: br>br> It appears to be very sturdy and long-lasting. I tossed it around a little before mounting it, and it held up admirably. Very bright, with a good throw. Charges quickly and takes up little space on the rail. Even with QD, if you use the right adaptor, you can get a solid mount. Two small zip ties were included, which I found to be extremely useful for my rail. Depending on your system, you may require longer or heavier ones. br>br>Contrary to popular belief, there are a number of disadvantages to using this product. There is a lot of room for improvement in terms of run time. Max 1. The brightness decreases as the charge decreases over the course of the 5 hour run time. It will only be able to produce 1500 lumens for about one minute. The lumens will then drop to 600. In most applications, I've found 600 lumens to be sufficient. It has no battery backup and a short run time, so its utility in the field will be limited. The pressure pad magnetically attaches to the light, so a range band or inner tubing is required for any type of field application. You'll need a way to keep it charged because it doesn't have a battery backup. Adding a powerpack to your weapon light's kit. With a battery-powered light, this is entirely avoidable. This light, in my opinion, is best suited for use as a home defense weapon. I wouldn't recommend it for any kind of field use. If you spend a little more, you can get a Surefire.

The best compact light on the market for its size and weight
5/5

This light has no flaws in my opinion. I like how light it is and how compact it is. Any picatinny rail will work with it. It has a strobe feature and a lumen range of 500 to 1500. One of my favorite features of this light is that it can be charged and locked for those of us who use a hard case with foam, like myself. The worst-case scenario is that the light turns on by accident and destroys your battery just when you need it. To assist my tacticool people who do not read instructions, I created an instructional video.

At the end of this review, I'll explain how to use the best weapon light available
5/5

Before changing careers, I worked as a rural police officer for six years. Stream light tlr is what we use. 1 as our weapon lights, and they've never let us down. I bought my first Olight a few years ago as a more affordable alternative after switching fields of study, and I couldn't be happier with my decision today! Olight is reliable, durable, has longevity, versatility between bright, dim, and strobe (which I don't use except in extreme situations where disorientation is an unavoidable means, mainly because you may trigger epilepsy in people you know), and I couldn't be happier with my choice today! In my experience, most internal batteries end up being litihum, and I believe that litihum batteries have a memory, so charging them after each use may train the battery to believe it has a short life. When the battery drains to a safe level before your light dies, that's when you should fully charge it. Definitely a weapon light that can be used in homeland security situations. Even after reading the instructions, it took me a second to figure out how to get into lock out mode, where the light only dims on and off. To do so, turn your Olight off, then press and hold one of the two buttons on the back of the weapon light for 1 if it isn't already 1. 5 seconds, then press and hold the other button on the opposite side until the light turns off. The next time you use either button on the weapon light or the remote switch (both of which work beautifully), it will be the simple dim on off mode. To exit this mode, press and hold both side buttons on the back of the weapon light at the same time until the dim light turns bright, then release both side buttons to return to the normal bright only mode, where you can turn it on and off by pressing any single button once. To use the momentary light, press and hold any single button until it turns off, then click both side buttons at the same time to use the strobe function.

The lighting is incredible
4/5

These are good lights for the money; however, I'm not sure why they have different charging cords for different models; it's a pain. Both cords are identical in appearance and function, but the mini light has "special" written on it and has opposite magnets.

It's been almost a year since the last update
5/5

If you require a light for your firearm, this is the item to purchase. I'm sure there are better lights out there, but this one is simple to charge, remove, and use. The pressure switch is also excellent. I really like how the charger and pressure switch are connected magnetically. It would be great if it had red and green lenses that could be swapped out. That, however, would almost certainly cost an additional $80. It still works great and I love it after almost a year of use and abuse, including being dropped in saltwater and not being cleaned up.

This weaponlight is exceptional
5/5

This weapon light is very good. I recently used it as a flashlight and was blown away by its strength and efficiency - It allowed a 100-yard treeline to be seen clearly. Its ergonomics make it a great pistol light, but I've also found it to be a great complement to a subgun. You won't even need to mess with the pressure switch if you mount this to the side of a CZ Scorpion. the light-weight The buttons that are mounted will be in the ideal location. I dropped this in some concrete puddles, and it still looks brand new. Exceptionally impressive.

Awesome
5/5

The best tac light available. This is without a doubt the best weapon light I've ever used. It is simple to put on and remove. It fits in kydex IWB and OWB holsters made for the Surelight x300, which I replaced with the Olight once I got it. I didn't have to upgrade any holsters because it fits in my safari land for my Glock, which was designed for the Surefire x300. br>I chose the pressure switch version so that I can easily switch this light between my black rifle and my sidearm. It's a little shorter than the surefire, which I think is a plus. The buttons are straightforward to locate and understand. For strobe, press both pads; for temp illumination, press either the left or right pad. Relapse must be avoided. To get continuous illumination, press and click either the right or left pad. This is the brightest thing I've ever seen. Indoors and out, it casts a focused beam. Thank you for your help, Olight.
