The third update hasn't been released yet, so it is too soon to tell
3/5

I really like the size, weight, brightness, and light of the laser,,, but when I tried to adjust it it only adjusted at a 45 degree angle at this point, and I can't seem to get it to align with the light. It is a red dot that keeps jumping all over the place whenever I adjust it , no matter what I do As soon as I turn on the laser adjustments, nothing changes, then a bit more nothing changes, and then it jumps to the opposite end of the playing field both on the L and R axes as well as on the Up and Down axes. There was indeed a lot of "glitchy" adjustment. My laser got locked up so I tried a few rounds with it attached to see if I could loosen it up, if not I'm sending it back for a replacement. I was so impressed initially,, until I tried to restore it to its original setting. Hopefully, I'll be able to get to the range within the next couple days. I'll update my review once I've shot a few rounds on the range. When the co-worker adjusts it on the bench, it must still fit I can see,,, nothing is going to happen so far. The laser is still not zeroing even after mounting it onto 3 different firearms using a "Ransom Rest" and mounting it to 3 different guns. It is still glitchy and does not zero and the adjustments are just as quirky Lastly, the clamp screw that keeps it in place seems to have stretched as well, and will no longer hold it tight on any surface I place it on.

Sadly, I missed my return window by a couple of days because I'm in the midst of moving to a new house, however, I have contacted Olight directly for a refund or replacement since it was purchased via their Amazon store. It's a shame too because I was so impressed with its brightness at first, both with the laser and the screen You're luminous. The fact that I am dissatisfied with this unit is an understatement to say the least, I guess I'll have to see how good their customer service is now? My best wishes with my new endeavor.

Update #2, well there is such a thing as bad customer service! I have been given lip service and have been told to send a video of the problem by Olight. If the mounting play only amounts to about . , how am I suppose to do that. Can you give me an inch and a tenth? Moreover, they promised to send me a replacement mounting screw to try to resolve that issue, but, when I said OK, they never followed through. The laser adjustments would still be so glitchy and jumpy that it wouldn't even address the main issue. The only way I can rate them at this point is a negative 5 stars because they are just another hit or miss china product IMHO and their customer service is virtually nonexistent and they respond with a snotty attitude if you try to get in touch with Hopefully it hasn't blown up like some of the flashlights there have, if that's any consolation for you?
I would urge you to stay away from the products of Ollight! The rest of the time, I'll make sure to. I have an update #3 Well, here it is . . . I'm still not getting any service from Olight after three months. Although I've found out the issue of the laser not adjusting properly, it seems to be related to the weather conditions. I'm now able to adjust the laser properly once the weather has warmed up to above freezing. It's still an issue with the cross screw on the mount not tightly securing the Baldor Mini to certain mounts on some firearms after 11 communications with customer service and two with Olight directly via Facebook today, Honestly, is it really that difficult for them to drop a screw into an envelope and drop it in the mail to me in order to fix this problem? I just wanted to know? My current rating with Olight products is a negative 10 stars, and I have actually taken ALL the products off my shelves and have sent them back to my distributor, even though I still get requests to carry their products in my sporting goods shop. Because my distributors have a minimum order requirement for their products, I only got this light laser combo on Amazon to try it out. Yes I'm a retired gunsmith of >I've been in this line of work for 50 years now will never be any more of their products on my shelves. **Does this get old yet,,. ,OR WHAT ? **Update #4

Where am I? 12/29/2021

I hope I am not too old. Even after 5 months, I'm still trying to get the screws to repair the looseness in the mount. Even though they sent me a picture of the screw I requested be replaced, and I confirmed that the screw was what I requested, they still sent the wrong screws In my opinion, they have an inept staff with an inferior product , not to mention I've spent 5 months trying to resolve a simple issue, not to mention am still without a product I've used once. In this article, I've provided an overview of my experiences with Olight products & services, which I think you'll find extremely comprehensive. Since they lack customer service, I will let you decide if you want to do business with them or not. I don't want to waste any more of my time on I would have to say that (again) I think this was the plan from the start, to wear me out, so I would leave. . . ,,,,,,,,.

The quality of this product is poor
3/5

After receiving the product and charging it to maximum capacity, I checked the status of the battery. The light went out after the first few minutes of use, and it did not come back on even after charging it again until the green charger light appeared on the charging cable. In this application, I will buy a different brand next time. I would not recommend this light to others.

Despite the magnetic charger being compatible with other Olight rechargeables, it is not compatible with the magnetic charger
3/5

It has a rechargeable battery, like the Olight Warrior 2 I bought for my HK45 CT. That's one reason I bought the Baldr Mini for it. It would make sense that the magnetic charging connector would be the same for torches from the same manufacturer, so that you don't have to buy two connectors for two flashlights It's for this reason that people warn you not to assume - You make an ass out of me and you. As it turns out, Olight has some geniuses It seems that the company whose products I have been happy with for some time has reversed the polarity of the magnetic charger, which means you can't use one magnetic charger for two torches at once. Only the polarities are reversed in the reversed charger the dimensions are the same. They're not the brightest tools in the shed. I'm not sure what product manager or engineer at Olight thought this would be a good idea from both a COGS and customer satisfaction perspective, but they certainly aren't the smartest. You're a genius, my friend. You guys make something so simple like web browsing an inconvenience for your customers? If you do this so often, how can I show brand loyalty to you? What could have been a promising career is marred by a black mark This product looks good.

In an effort to keep my XD mini compact as small as possible, I purchased this
4/5

I thought it would fit perfectly based on some reviews I read. The cycle can continue for as long as possible. My opinion is that it doesn't fit well. There is a problem with how well it grips on to the tac rail. Neither the rail nor the side of the light mount is tall enough, and the rail is too thick. If I clamp the switch down, the light switch on the right side will press against the trigger guard and will not work no matter how I Although I like the light, I do not like how it fits.

The light is nice
5/5

The laser light is compact and adjustable, and I appreciate its on/off switch that is positioned on the side. There was one thing I did not like about the lamp after two minutes, the light drops.

Really impressed by that
5/5

A stream light TLR-D is also part of my collection Compared to the Baldr, the Mini is far brighter and more compact. It is also adjustable, allowing you to choose between light, laser, A quick release mount makes it easier to mount and remove, the laser has a longer throw distance, and it is brighter and whiter. There is very little weight to it. These can be taken off and charged easily. The Olight will no doubt be able to clinch all of these victories. There is only one item that is subjective, and that is the non-replaceable Even if you had an extra battery, you couldn't fix the problem if you ever ran out of power. People in that situation would probably not be in a position to handle it. As a matter of fact, I do prefer using the Streamlight buttons since they are used to them so there is no chance that they can Although the Olight buttons are unlikely to get caught on anything, it can still be an issue depending on how the light is adjusted. We were very impressed with the Olight, the price point was fair, the size was perfect, we would recommend it and would buy it again in the future.

The design for this lightweight device is very elegant
5/5

Only one thing I dislike about it. I was not pleased with the quality of the hex wrench that was provided. I thought I had stripped the screws from inside the device when I tried to zero it in. Fortunately, it was the wrench, not the screws. I was able to use a good quality wrench to fix the problem. I like how it looks on my compact HK 45 in addition to that the laser is located higher than the flashlight beam and closer to the barrel. In addition to the design being lightweight, small, and elegant, I appreciate how it is extremely compact as well. When I thought of trying it on my Smith and Wesson M&P, I thought of the M&P It was an entry-level P15 Sport II that was installed first. It seemed to stay zeroed in after over 100 rounds and replace the bulkier flashlight and laser that had been installed previously, thereby making the rifle less barrel-heavy. In fact, I bought another one for the HK compact 45 after being so impressed. Tomorrow hopefully I'll put it to the test. The $79 brands that I tried and returned are not as good as the higher priced ones. It seems to work for me this way.
