If you spent over three grand on a rifle and scope, you might as well pair them with gorgeous rings. They are the nicest rings I have ever used, I have never given much attention to rings before, but when I put my Nightforce into them it felt great, smooth, and just perfect! No lapping required, as stated in the scope manual, it will void the warranty. That ring really is nice! Thanks for the gift. I found it a little hard to spend a decent amount of money on something so trivial.
A low height was far enough away to accommodate my Leupold 44mm objective on a Rem 700 action with a heavy barrel profile trail. My rings weighed 3 pounds. It was either these or Seekins Precision rings I was contemplating buying. It is clear that these Seekins have a large contact surface with the scope tube compared to other scopes. Four ounces is the weight of their medium height rings. Approximately 2 oz. In order to keep it light and strong, I am trying to go as fast and light The NF rings are lacking in the cross bolts. They are thin, and there's a fair amount of movement in the picatinny rail channel (1913 mil specs). In the Seekins ring, the crossing bolt fits nearly perfectly into the rail channel, which means there is no movement, which gives me peace of mind that this point of movement will not occur Seekins rings are being used for a magnum caliber, so that's what I'm going with. While these NF rings could probably be used with many rifles, I would only place them in the rail channel of a lighter recoiling weapon and make sure to position them all the way forward. NF has made a simple design change with an extremely small weight difference. Not sure what the reasoning behind this is.
As can be seen from the image, Nightforce should have a logo on the top of each ring, but there is none. Markings in any form are not allowed. Would anyone like to clarify if this is a common problem or if the one that I received isn't valid? Do you intend for there to be no marking? There is so much money I pay for that logo, and I expect to see it. I've updated to We confirm there is no marking of any kind on an ultralite ring from NF. The product should be marked with their brand to prove the authenticity of their product. These kinds of items can easily be faked. This is an excellent replacement for my Trijicon Accupoint 50mm objective, which has been holding up well for me. To know how well these rings hold up, I have to experiment with the scope more frequently. (Knock on wood) So far, so good.
Despite the size of rings that had been advertised, the ring that was delivered was smaller. In the order I placed, I ordered medium height rings 0") and the ones delivered were high.
You will receive exactly what you ordered. The Factory packaging of the Night force rings has a 375" height.
The quality of the products from night force is always good. These rings are what I bought for my NX8 as I wanted a lightweight set up.
The ring is pricey, but you get what you pay for and you should not go cheap on the Getting the most out of these rifles and optics probably means you already have a high-end rifle and You can buy them just by purchasing There isn't anything to be disappointed with. In spite of the lack of a nightforce logo on the top of the rings, they are still very cool. It is misleading to show the picture.
The light is perfect. I'm in love with it. Light, strong, and perfectly formed. For my 308 AR, I mounted these directly to the upper receiver rails. I just wanted to let you know With 375"-high rings, two NF NXS 3s can be held. In terms of the , 15x50 clears it. The eye piece of the LWRC is about 3" high and has a knurled portion on the knurled portion. The room to spare is 1".
