So the end result is exactly what I was hoping for - It gets you on paper, but there's some wiggle room when it comes to getting the first line up - It changes as you take it in and out of the gun, but as I previously stated, I only needed to get it down on paper; the rest is up to you to better site the gun in. If you take your time getting the initial sight in, you'll need to buy more batteries. My batteries were completely depleted in less than 15 minutes, but as I previously stated, these batteries are inexpensive. My purchase has satisfied me.
This served as a good way to get your first shot down on paper. The laser location changed every time you took it out and put it back in. Additionally, while inside the chamber, you could change the laser's location by gently pressing on it. It's possible that I have a burr or something else that's causing this. We simply inserted the laser at the range and saw that it was pointing low/right, so we decided to shoot to see if they matched. No, the shot was high and right, and it hit the target right in the middle. What a pleasant surprise. It was shooting a 2 inch group that was well centered after a few scope adjustments. So, if you just want to get your first shot down on paper, this is the tool for you. Simply put, you won't be able to center your first shot with this.
Wasn't much help; it still took 15 rounds at 100 yards with a new scope to get on paper; better results can be obtained by removing the bolt and looking down the gun's barrel from the breach at 50 yards, then going from there.
It turned out to be excellent. I would buy another if I needed one because the batteries did not last as long as I had hoped.
Works.
