These are what I use on a 10/22 rifle that I have mounted in a Magpul Hunter X-frame. 22 stock. For most people, the $64,000 question is which riser they require for their scope height. My rifle has a high scope so that I can shoot offhand with my head as vertical as possible, but it is also used for CMP Rimfire Sporter, so it must be shootable in all three positions. br>br>Here's how I've got it set up: br>Area of Interest: Target EFR 3 Nikon Prostaff 9x40 AO in Weaver Grand Slam (high) ringsbr>br>I started with the High Cheek riser and used it for about a month. This was the perfect height for me. wise, but I have full cheeks, and my cheek padding was just thick enough to push my eye off center if I brought my head down tight on the riser. In order to keep the rifle from canting, I had to tilt my head to get my eye centered in the scope. The Medium riser is about a quarter inch shorter than the High riser. This may not appear to be much, but it was the space I needed to get a very consistent cheek weld without moving my eye out of place. If that extra bit of space causes your eye to fall below center, you can always add a thin pad to the riser, but if the riser is too tall, you're out of luck. br>br>With my setup, a person with a thinner face would most likely prefer the High riser. br>br>If you're using Medium scope rings, the Medium cheek riser is a good choice.
On my SGA stock, I used a 3/4-inch riser. To use the ghost ring or red dot on my 870, I placed my cheek weld exactly where it needed to be. I wish it had come with the SGA stock from the start, but I don't mind being nickeled and dimed in this case because it does the job flawlessly.
On my Ruger 10/22, I used a Magpul Hunter X22 to replace the factory stock. Because I use a Bushnell Banner telescopic sight with this rifle, I needed a higher cheek riser. The Magpul high cheek riser paired perfectly with the X22 stock. Every time I fire a round, I now have a good cheek weld. br>br>There are two different height risers included with this riser. Both were a perfect fit for the Magpul stock and were simple to install. They are rock solid once installed and significantly improve the firearm's performance. This cheek riser is an excellent addition that I would purchase again if the occasion arose.

Needless to say, I was in desperate need of a high cheek riser. br>br>It was incredibly simple to set up. Simply take out the buttstock's side screw. Remove the old riser by sliding off the back of the buttstock. Reassemble after placing the riser of your choice. This is very easy to install. This is made from the same material as your Magpul stock. br>br> br>br>It's well worth the investment.
These cheek pieces were made for the Magpul Remington 700 stock, which I own. The Magpul Remington 870 shotgun stock also uses the same cheek pieces. The 700 stock is accompanied by a 0. The 25 riser piece has been installed and provides a good amount of cheek lift. However, my rifle has low-profile rings and a Vortex PST scope, so I needed a little more height to get a proper NPA and cheek weld. br>br>There are two risers included in this kit. a single market One is marked 50, and the other is zero. I was able to swap the 0 with ease. One for the zero. I've completed 50 of them and now have an NPA of 100%. br>br>Shipping was quick, and the seller was pleasant to work with.
I have no complaints about the cheek rest, which is of standard Magpul quality. a good match It was very simple to set up. br>br>The way Magpul sells them is my issue. Magpul supplied the 700 stock, which has a medium riser. When you require a tall riser, now is the time to purchase one. They sell you a kit that includes a tall and a medium, similar to what I did. They would sell you a kit that included another medium if I needed a low riser. Now I have my stocks exactly how I want them, with the tall riser and two medium risers that I will most likely discard. It's not because of Amazon; it's because of the way Magpul sells them.
They are successful. I was unable to locate the OD color. The quality is a little lower than I'd expect from Magpul, and the price is a little high. I bought these risers because I couldn't find any that matched the olive color of my Hunter X22 stock online. Using my high set of forward offset rings necessitated by the large longer eye relief scope I have, the shorter one gave me a perfect cheek weld, and installation couldn't be easier, requiring only one screw removal. br>br>The plastic is shinier and smoother than stock, and it has a less expensive feel to it. The risers didn't come in the typical Magpul cardboard box with sticker, but they did have part numbers molded into them, so I believe they're genuine; I'm not sure why Magpul doesn't include these with the stock in the first place. I would have paid a little more for the convenience and color match.
If you're using a red dot or another type of sight on your shotgun, these are exactly what you'll need. Without the cheek riser, you'll have to lift your head off the stock, resulting in a wobbly chin weld and difficulty finding your dot when mounting the gun. I only wish they were included with the SGA, especially considering how much you pay for the stock in the first place. I discovered that the tall riser (. The dot worked best at 75" distance.
