Questions & Answers

You would use this if you dropped it from a 2 How likely is it that a building of three stories would collapse?

If a case qualifies for Military Justice, it does not indicate that Usually a B- If 810 is a good idea The paragraph 516 of the rule. An example of a shock environment is provided in paragraph 8. This test is essentially dropping something from the flight deck to the hangar deck four stories below. It is one of the most significant environments for maritime operations. Approximately, this would match what you meant by "2" The fall of three stories. The safety of a vehicle must remain intact after being dropped 40 feet and subsequently hit by a shock. There is no requirement that it continue to operate after exposure to that level, just that it remain safe and ready The secondary and tertiary shocks that occur after the initial impact are part of the shock environment. Let us know how it went. I would appreciate if you could upload the high-resolution version of the image Watch the video of the test in high speed.

Do you cut the foam before you assemble it. Do you have any options for customization?

In the foam, there is a preservative A slice or two per square inch is "cut" every time. To trace the gun on top of the foam, you lay it on top and trace around it, then remove the foam pieces that you do not desire.

Can anyone tell me how big the interior is?

It is 51 on the internal side. The length and width of the project is 5 inches and 14 inches. It has a depth of 3 inches on the bottom. The top depth is 1" and the depth at the bottom is 25". In this case, there is a cutout for the wheel. Here's a picture of the product It measures 2 inches by 2 inches on the inside. The gear box is equipped with a scoped rifled SKS and a scoped 1894 Marlin Cowboy, each with 40 rounds of ammo. Here's some information I hope is helpful.

You shape the foam insert to fit the gun. Is it possible to order just the foam insert? If I restart with just a new foam insert, would I still be able to rework the layout?

The dimensions of the foam can be found on Amazon from a different seller/brand. Just make sure you follow the seller's directions. It is always possible to order foam that is larger than the case and cut it to fit. It will hopefully be of some help!

Purchase this item at your own risk! These cases are the second I have purchased
3/5

In the first case, the latches could not be locked. There was a key in the case, but there was no lock on any of the latches. The second case did not have We tried to contact Plano Moulding but they weren't able to help! I sent them back so they could get two I flipped the latches on the first case, causing the lid to come This hinge does not have a pin. In this second case, we had an entirely different outcome.
I contacted Amazon and said I would keep the case without the pins and fix it if I could get a discount on it. In the end, they told me to keep it, and they refunded me fully. Aside from Amazon repairing the problem and rectifying it, the only positive thing we noticed was their efforts to.

I am very pleased with this In contrast to some who have said that their case arrived broken or with faulty pieces, mine arrived in perfect condition
5/5

The complaints have not been heard. It is very easy to remove the foam. Taking your time and not rushing through the process may prevent you from removing a piece you didn't intend I have plenty of room for my AR-15 The 15 comes with its own scope, the Sig 9mm, magazines for both, and a few There is still much to be done. At the bottom of the case, you can see a slight curve. It was me who said that. While I was doing it, I wasn't looking under the foam and did not straighten it out. The product does not have.

The bag is durable and good-looking, but it is I love the look of this case, and it feels solid in my hand
3/5

Despite its reasonable ease of use, the clips wind up and unwind easily with minimal effort and lock securely. The toughness of a pelican is lacking, but it is adequate. This product doesn't deserve even three stars, as it seems to have a major flaw in its design. A waterproof case is not available for this product. Neither end of the case is leak-proof. The previous models of this case have clips to hold them in place along the front, as well as one clip on each side. This case has 4 clips to hold it in place, hinges on both sides, and nothing to hold it down. This is clearly visible where it compresses near the front, then bows up on the sides due to the lack of clamping force. The lid slides freely along the bottom of the case since it is not under any pressure. Although the drippers on the plane prevent water from entering, water may still enter through these small gaps You need the "loc seal" for this. The plastic doesn't appear ridged enough to prevent it from bowing up at the ends, so it won't hold the shape you want. As much as I wanted to, I did not like this case at all. In addition to everything else, I love Nevertheless, if I buy an "all weather" rifle case, I expect that it won't leak water no matter how expensive it may be. This case has a label clearly stating that it is waterproof. However, I do not agree, Plano. If being waterproof is not your criterion, and you would like to keep your case dry and free of rain, then this case would be excellent. Nonetheless, DO NOT purchase this case thinking that it will protect your rifle from water damage. My copy did not come with a warranty, so I am not able to say if it was defective. In this blog post, I am only sharing my experiences. There is no mechanism to clamp down the rubber seal all the way around, so why does it need to be rubber? Can you tell me why the sides do not have clamps? There are three things worth mentioning about this rifle case. It is definitely aesthetically pleasing and seems durable enough for the price, but it doesn't function in the way that it Here are some tips I hope will help you.

It looks more appealing than the previous version! It looks better than the original version from an aesthetic standpoint
5/5

I like the way the plane imprinted "made in USA" on the top of the case. In terms of mechanics, this newer case is a little less rigid than the V1, but it will still protect your gear if you drop it. I don't think it will protect your gear if underwater. A turkey carver cut the plucking foam to fit my rifle with an electric motor. Upon ordering a 36" i found that it would fit perfectly with my rifle and scope combo. The next time I buy, I'll definitely get it.

It's a great case and the quality is great
4/5

It is made very well, however the pick and pull squares could be a little smaller, but that is fine. It would fit 2 scoped hunting rifles. A scoped tactical rifle will fit, but only one. The case was great in general.

This is excellent
5/5

The case fits my 16" barreled AR plus stuff and still leaves room for more. A great value for the dollar. A tough and durable construction. According to what I have observed on the range, this rifle is very well constructed for the price. If you want to be better, you will spend triple-digit amounts more. This is a flat-folding door. Fiber that is thick and strong A case made of plastic with a formed rib, good latches, and a set of holes to lock. The case has a rubber gasket to prevent water from entering. it is The room is very spacious (see pic). We are still working on it. The rifle has been cut in and all the other stuff is in a preliminary design. and materials The blade on this 4" knife is very sharp, the scissors are very sharp, the You may also need 1x2" pieces of paper (to mark edges before you cut), quick dry contact glue, and tooth picks to repair any mistakes. It took me 40 minutes to cut the rifle in (measure twice, mark the outline with paper pieces, and cut one time). It is best to start with the biggest I found the resting of the arms and grip to be the most difficult part. While this is certainly true, I am not sure if this will be watertight without end latches. There are a few things about it that I don't trust. Please read other comments (see below).

This version is ok, but the original one is When compared with the original all weather case, this one is a dud
3/5

Original version does not have the rigidity of this one. Using the original version of this product, I feel like my rifles are more protected. I would prefer the original latch to the pesky latch Plano was able to remove from the carry handle, but they were able to remove the latch. In the future, I will not purchase this version. I will continue to purchase all weather cases according to the original plan.
