As long as I don't drill a hole, I can use the adhesive backing that I received with the package. The handgun is what I use to mount it. There are a lot of magnets on here, but I went with these because there were two in the box as opposed to just They are great and I'm so glad I bought them. The one I put in my truck for my pistol didn't move an inch. Since the magnets are so strong, the pistol remains in its sticky holster, and the magnets hold the pistol in place while it is in In the gun cabinet, I will display my other pistols with these in the near future.
