How do I use a 12 V battery with them?

No. You can get the battery charging connection to connect it to a 6v feeder battery, and you can get a moultrie solar charger to keep it charged, however.

For each battery pack, how long do they last?

On low power, the battery can last 20 hours, and on high power, it can last 5 hours

It would be better if they sealed the components better so that rain won't get in

The result is that one of the four packs of glasses has been destroyed. My callers had not yet hung up on me, so I had two left. In addition to the extra expense, I'll have to buy something to cover my newly mounted horses or run out every time it rains to retrieve them (too much effort). The design could be improved.

Rather than just putting them up on the spot, I would recommend setting them up in advance

The lights perform the functions they are advertised to do. It would be best if you set them up in advance instead of just browsing through them randomly. They need time to adjust to the light coming in they may be frightened at first. I think it is great once they do.
