Questions & Answers
The feet of a boss buck can be used for the feeder, as well as the legs. This is just a band with leg adapters that allow you to slide your legs onto it. This kit does not include the 6ft/8ft legs.
No, it isn't equipped with legs.
No, it was designed to fit a 55 gallon barrel.
I'm not sure what gauge it is, but it's a lot of steel.

I feed the critters all year because it works as advertised. I use minerals, corn, and soy beans, and I give them a lot of attention because I want them to taste good. I wasn't sure what to make of this 55 gallon barrel band wrap, but it does the job and hasn't caused any issues so far.
I'd never used a feeding stand before and had made a number of errors. Following your purchase of the low-cost tri-fold, We went metal with the pod ones (3 of them). br>The last one was broken in a single day by the hogs. I purchased this ring as well as two plastic 55 gallon drums(2), but the drums were tapered and would not fit properly. They are a perfect match for the metal drums. br>Quality is excellent.
This barrell is ideal for retrofitting. It's tough as nails and fits snugly on all of the barrels I tried it on. I'm going to buy some more!.
It is well-designed and performs admirably. With this product, you won't have to drill holes in your feeder barrel, which will eventually leak and weaken it. I would strongly suggest it.
This feeder band is extremely effective. Drilling holes in your barrel and hanging (or crawling) inside to put the nuts on the bolts is a lot easier! It's difficult to keep the feeder band in place while trying to install the long bolts that hold it together if you're doing it yourself. Pull it all together with a ratcheting bar clamp until the nuts and bolts are in place.
It's a little on the expensive side, but it'll do the trick.
The band itself appears to be of high quality, but I believe the one I purchased had already been opened when I received it. It had been reboxed, and two washers were missing. It's not a big deal, but the seller should repackage it better to prevent hardware from being lost, and be gentle with the cheap bolts that come with it, as they can easily strip. I had to replace two of the short ones, and I'm not sure I tightened them enough.
This is a fantastic product that does exactly what it says on the tin. This is something I would strongly suggest.
