The Gen 2 PMag covers are compatible with Gen 3 PMags, albeit a bit loosely (a bit of wiggle), but they are still effective. It is not possible to fit Gen 2 PMags with Gen 3 PMag covers, since they have a tiny bit of extra material inside the cover derived from the redesign (unless you remove that extra material with a Dremel or similar machine). The covers fit both Gen 2 and Gen 3 PMags, so you might want to use them if you have a mix of There is also the option of standardizing around either one or the other magazine. If you decide to switch exclusively to Gen 3 PMags in the process, please feel free to send me all your Gen 2 PMags as well.
This is for the M2 magazines, but both the M2 and M3 should fit. Despite this, M3 covers will not work with M2 magazines.
Both gen 2 and gen 3 powder magazines are compatible with the dust covers.
There is a possibility that it won't fit the 308 PMAG

from damaging the feed lips. *Some believe that a fully loaded 30rd magazine will allow the lip material to warp, and that these covers will fix that issue. The tough little covers will hold your feed lips tight so you can sleep better. Simply snap them on your loaded mags, and keep your feed lips protected! You might want to consider that if you are worried about it. That's what I like most about Magpul, and I'm sure I'm not the only one. I'm happy with it! br>) As far as 'toughness' factor is concerned, - They have a lot of power - Low temperatures do not cause these items to become brittle, as lower polymers tend to do Plastics (Sterilite is at the very top of my personal list of inexpensive, throw-away materials The Plague) can be avoided through the use of throwaway plastic products. It's no secret Magpul put a lot of time and money into research and development We spent some time in the lab making a rock-solid product Solid product, one you can bet your life on, in case of emergency (hopefully never necessary). It's a no-brainer for me to buy Magpul We sell firearm products to companies. Their entire product line is great, every single product I have used has been great This product has stood the test of time and been used hard. Despite that, Magpul is also a morally good company. I don't claim any company is infallible, but I think Magpul is. Patriots all across our Great Land of THE United States of America resonate with their core beliefs that reflect our Constitution. It gives me great pleasure to thank Magpul for providing such great products and for being integrity-driven. I thank you from the bottom of my heart.
My magpul magazines fit perfectly on top of them and they do a great job. Having these covers allows you to keep your magazines ready to use while protecting them from oxidation, keeping them secure within the magazine and preserving their rounds. They are durable and allow you to keep your magazines ready to fire. My magazines seem better to me with these in them. The cleaner they are, the less dirt they allow in, the more shock absorption and the more portable they are - It is both durable and discreet. In order to snap the cover in place, our lot needed to be drummelded at the bottom. Interestingly, this cover was a little bit different. One end was made of extra polymer. As soon as I realized this was the cause of the cover not snapping in place, I was able to gently drummel it out and it fit perfectly. Not a big deal to fix. It is a product that I would recommend to anyone, so I will purchase.
maybe it is good for keeping dirt/grime out. I know, but. . . After installation, the stack of rounds is slightly depressed to relieve some of the weight on the mag opening caused by top rounds, so the mag does not splay open even At the bottom of the magazine is a convenient pair of notches where the cover can be stowed when the mag is not in use.
This is a pretty nifty collection of covers. These are not necessary but seem to make good supplemental items for helping to keep your ammunition safe. The Magpul magazines fit very well with these (as I mentioned earlier, most of mine are Gen 3 magazines and they fit Some time ago, I had purchased a magazine that came with a cover for free, which prompted me to buy covers for the remainder of my magazines without What I've learned in ten years The covers of my 30-round hunting magazines contain my favorite hunting rounds when they are stored/transported in my hunting bag, and I have a thirty-round magazine with me on my hunt. I also carry round magazines in my duty bag, so they also have covers. I said earlier that they may not be necessary, but they are an enjoyable item.
This gives you a little peace of mind, as moisture and dirt are kept off your rounds during storage or while you are on the range. Despite the tight seal, the mag covers fit perfectly over the Magpul mags. As a result, I have found they catch within my 3-clip mag holder, so if you expect to go through these, you should take the covers off. Here we go!.
have three magazines with cover images that don't come with these covers already, so seeing these offered for sale made me happy. It will be useful to have them on hand. There was no free shipping option available with other sources. However, the price was comparable to others.
Covers for these Pmags were originally intended only for Gen 2 magazines. According to Magpul, these are compatible with Gen 3, but the seals do not hold. It is a pleasure to use these covers. In just the same way as the covers that came equipped with Gen 3 magazines, they seal and fit precisely. Consider picking up a three pack to replace old ones or just to have spares.
(3 Pack). Protect your furniture with a protective cover. This clip fits the magazine and stays in place. Their service is great and they get a 5 star rating from us. There are 56 mags in the box. These are the same ones that come with some PMAG mags out of the box.
