Even though this case is considered an XL, it is extremely small in comparison to other cases. Clearly, from these photos of it sitting next to my buddy's Calcutta roller bag, this bag is at best large and, except for the rod holders, it doesn't offer adequate storage space for any kind of deep sea fishing trip lasting more than a day. Although this bass bag is great for fresh water use, it is not designed for long-term deep sea use. I will be sending it.
My son and I were able to fit all the gear we needed. It was nice that there was room for reels (Qty 4) in the upper part of the enclosure and the trays were With the nylon shelves in the lower section, each tray had a shelf to go on (so when necessary, it was easy to slide in/out). Rolling carts helped reduce the amount of gear transport down the dock by eliminating the need for lugging heavy gear up and down. When you can get the role on with this roll loaded with significant lure weights and lead weights for top rockfishing, why carry when you can get it on with this roll. It will be interesting to see how it holds up over time. During the summer, you will take a term. **Furthermore, I have added the following to my notes A new airline roll-out feature has been added The bag accessory (or bungie cords for the frugal) can easily be used to strap a second tackle box or gear box on top and roll it along with it.
There's something about this tackle bag that just doesn't seem to be right for me. There is about an inch and 3/4 of tilt when it is in the back of my trunk and tipped There have been a couple of times when it has happened. If it was level, I don't think that would My first thought was to send it back, but I had already filled it up with everything. Since my other tackle bag was getting too heavy, I was in need of a sturdier, wheeled bag and thought this one would do. In my opinion, there are plenty of other things that would be fine if you just fixed the tilting forward.
In addition to carrying a lot of tackle and poles, I wanted something that could carry the tiniest tackle box. The tackle bag is, overall, a nice product. The design has a few Ideally, feet should be on the front of the bag to keep it balanced and prevent it from falling forward (upon sticking one of the boxes under the front, we end up having less than desirable results. Due to the way the bag is crafted, the straps come out of the bottom and drag (already showing damage and fraying).
As a result of several disabilities, I am unable to carry large quantities Having this extra access gives me an advantage in some situations. Since it did get hung in sandy areas, I have given it 4 stars for versatility. There might be something to be gained by adding a skid plate on the back to prevent future damage (I have not experienced this) But I liked it so much I ended up buying another one! I cannot express in words how amazing this is and how affordable it is!.
What I like best about this bag is that it can be carried in a number of different ways. It's very convenient for me to transport my fishing gear as a backpack, luggage roller, handle or shoulder strap since I use it for different activities. My handsfree, backpack works well for me when I have to go I can bring it along with me when I go to a dock or pier because it has wheels and a Using the shelving and slots added to the walls, I was able to organize ALL of my tackle, both fresh and salt, into one box. Having two separate rooms is better than having two seperate rooms. Although I plan to lightly grease the zipper to reduce friction and the effects of salty water, I won't grease it too much. The rest of it was great! I received the best gift for my dad!.
This gear helps me quickly get to my fishing spots and out again. The back pack isn't big, but it still holds 4 rods or 3 rods with a net, the 5 tackle boxes, and additional storage on My rod holders have held firm at 25 mph on paved roads as well as bumpy rides on dirt roads (though I had to ride at a slower speed once I reached an To date, I have not had any problems. Since the tackle boxes include a smaller version of the 3700 boxes, you can't fit as many tackle items in them (and the 3700 boxes definitely won't fit in the bag), but it still gets the job done in an organized and convenient way. My line and miscellaneous tools are stored on the top section of the bag along with additional bait that cannot fit in There are times when I only bring 3 tackle boxes, which allows me to use the other 2 slots for anything else I wish to bring. It features five dividers which can be removed and moved to the desired height. In general, I have my boxes secured in a tighter fashion towards the bottom, allowing more space (height) for my items on the top and middle There's the option of only using 4 tiers so you can place larger items at the top. The system is extremely It is difficult to open or close the top zipper, which is the only complaint I have. On the other hand, I was caught in the rain the other day, and the inside remained dry without any leaks It was my concern that leaking would take place at the top of that trip Even so, moderate rain intensity was no problem for it. The bag is versatile on a few occasions as I will use the backpack straps at home and sometimes use it as a rolling bag. As I noted earlier, neither the shoulder straps nor the backpack straps can be stowed away. All you need to do is plan the way you intend to use it ahead.
This bag has many compartments, which he loves since he brings his fishing gear with him. As it has rollers that make it easy to transport, it makes carrying fishing gear a lot easier. This time it has compartments for fishing poles as well. This is a back saver for sure! The next fishing trip he takes to the coast of San Diego, CA, begins on Aug 7th, in which this new technique will be put to the test. I hope he is successful! I will post another review after this fishing trip. Good luck!.
