To test out a few different models for rod tip glow sticks, I have tried several models. The simplicity and low cost make them the best. Simply snap the stick, give it a shake, and snap it on the rod tip and you are ready to fish. Most rods will fit them since they are bright and durable. These rods may not fit if your surf rod is extremely heavy or your bottom fishing rod is extremely heavy. You can slip them on one eye lower than the tip if you have very light rod time. These past two nights have been filled with a lot of them as well. You can use these sticks when the light is not so bright on the second night, but if you just want to see how the rod tip moves when the fish strikes, you can do that. They will work again the next night if you shake them well. All of my surf fishing rods from a 10 foot medium action rod to a 12 foot heavy action rod fit well with these and I use them with no more than one at a time. This is my favorite kind of stuff.

The lights are bright and shine well at night. The specimens are about an inch and a half in length. I became addicted to these after my friend got me hooked. I prefer these to the ones offered by Walmart because they're so much easier to clip on. Each pack comes with two, so that is a great price as well. It makes a big difference at night on a boat to have these.
