I believe there are two sizes available, 6 1/2 and 7 inches. There are 3 treble hooks on the smaller hook, and 2 pairs on the larger hook

It isn't my usual practice to post reviews, and I am not a I almost lost my trip, but this lure saved it. My water level was low on a trip to fish in the Amazonian Amazon when I caught this lure. The lure and color of this lure caught fish like crazy. The truth is, I used this lure on my last Amazon adventure over a decade ago, and it stayed in the box in favor of topwaters. It was an error looking back. It worked on this trip to Columbia BC, where the fish were working deeper and I used this lure and a jig the entire time. My catch of peacocks to 15 lbs was fantastic. There was even an 18lb catfish in the mix. You can get huge fish by fishing this lure and going to Las Lagunas with Alan Zaremba. The next trip I have planned will be to fish in the Everglades for large tarpon and snook with these will be exciting to use.

These are the rods I use to fish for salmon. It takes a lot of scrubbing and effort to keep them in good shape. It's best to use a quality snap swivel/ball bearing combo in front of the bomber and a good ball bearing swivel a couple feet up the line. The effort is still worth it every now and then, but you will have to straighten a split or hook occasionally. Many of the lures have been changed out with new hooks and split rings and that also has helped.
The Bomber Magnum Long A is my favorite swimming plug to use at the surf, jetty, shore or boat for stripers and blues. Highly effective for trolls as well. As someone used to freshwater fishing, I was surprised at how big it was. I bought it specifically for a saltwater fishing trip to Honduras, but I'm used to freshwater fishing. Several locals told me fishing had been slow for the season, so keep that in mind when I say I didn't catch anything with it, although I did catch a big barracuda and a tarpon followed me. At least I have a beastly lure so I can intimidate my freshwater fishing buddies with it even if I struggled to catch any fish.
