It's not clear to me. A Caribbean resident, I reside in the Caribbean.
Currently, I've got this set up on a muddy river in Alabama and it works perfectly. However, make sure you get the brightest bulb.
Replace the GFI plug with a normal plug when the GFI plug is cut off. If you plug your device into a GFI outlet, be sure it is protected. My company told me to do the same thing when I called them with the same issue. My computer now works fine after I fixed it.

The reason I selected the 21000 lumen model was that I was worried with the depth of our water (8-10 feet). This brighter light would be needed because of the size of the room (9').
I was not disappointed by any aspect of the product. The only thing I would have liked better is a longer cord and a smaller GFCI connector on the end of the cord. At the end of my dock, I have a standard dock box with a 50 and 30 amp shore power outlet for my boat and then a I was unable to plug in my dock power box with the GFCI plug on the end of the power cable. It is specified in the documentation that removing the GFCI plug automatically voids your warranty, so I was a bit concerned about replacing the plug or the cord. A representative of the company responded quickly, advising me that they would approve my plan to remove the GFCI plug and replace it with a standard 3 prong plug. They provided me with simple instructions on how to accomplish this. The tropical storm Eta came through a few days after this light was installed. Due to the storm surge, our house was up to 2" under water, and the dock was about a foot under water. While the power box was not submerged, about 8" of rain fell on it. In the wire connecting the light and the wire to the light, I found a palm frond curled up 15' long. This is a testament to the quality of the product since I was able to remove the palm frond and the light kept working just fine. This thing does attract a lot of fish. When my wife and I go fishing in the evening, we enjoy seeing what kind of fish we can catch. The catfish who like to hover over the light seem to be more active now that it's cooler and safer In addition to fish, birds are also part of the equation. If I had considered that aspect of the light before buying it, I probably would not have bought it. Now every morning when I go out on the dock, I have to wash it down with hose after seeing bird droppings and fish blood left behind. However, that is not the product's fault, the light does exactly what it is supposed to do, and as such, it deserves five.

I've had this light for several months now and have only great things to say about it. Fish flock to saltwater lights because they don't grow barnacles, and the light does not cause barnacle growth. Besides snook, trout, redfish, catfish, bonnet heads, and more, I have caught other species of fish at night by fishing with the light. It did happen to me that I had one issue and the company responded amazingly quickly with troubleshooting assistance and a solution. The product is fantastic! I would definitely buy it again in the future!.

There is jelly on the neighbors' faces. In the light, all kinds of fish are found. A nurse shark, a mullet, and a mangrove snapper. I enjoy watching the fish at night in the light, because it's interesting to see how they move.
I purchased the cheaper ones for three years and I am very pleased with the results because they are much brighter, they have no barnacles and grows on them very well.
I called them because the cord was too short. Their longer proposal was sent back to them, and I sent back the short one. It was an excellent customer experience!.
