Questions & Answers

Can I drop this light in water that is a little deeper or shallower?

My weight is an anchor that is attached to the bottom of the bath. The fun begins when you drop it over. It doesn't take long for hundreds of baitfish to show We then move on to Give yourself an hour to complete the task. Drag the bottom bouncer and the night crawler as you drag back into the light to hook monster cat fish in 40 feet of clear water beyond the I love the light here. It needs to be protected. Besides the fishing finder, transom and canoe stern light attached to its own plastic tool box, it has a 22-inch plastic tool box for my fishing gear. For the connection, we used a quick change fitting.

Are there white light versions of it?

Thank you. We have a 14W white light in stock, but we are out of stock of it right now. You can check the listing later.

How should I choose the color of my light when fishing for perch, bass, or catfish in fresh water?

The color I use is green, as it generates the most tiny critters to which minnows are attracted. There are also supposed to be good colors, like white and blue, but I have never experimented with other colors since green has always been enough to generate baitfish to attract crappies to my rod. During the summer months of July and August, I always seem to have a good bait ball going.

How do I plug in this to a cigarette light?

A cigarette lighter can be attached to it.

It is cheap
5/5

I am bright. Brings fish to the surface. There are no outdoor crappie anglers around here who don't have Coleman lanterns or electric lamps that hang over the water as they fish for crappie at night. When they work in the late spring and summer, they also draw huge amounts of bugs, as well as fish. After a night of fishing, I found an inch of dead bugs in the bottom of my lantern. Including your face, they divebomb everything that the light reflects off of. The crashing of bugs into my eyes is not something I can take. As a result, I wanted to test out the The reviews were negative for the expensive ones, as well, as leaks and short warranties were mentioned. As for the light, if it fails, I would rather have a $20 light fail than a $120 light, so I bought it. While I have not used it a lot, so far it appears to be well built. I ran it for four hours on a sealed 12V 7Ah battery which didn't leak - The battery was only depleted to about 50% with the lead-acid battery. A very bright day. Despite the dense fog, the water appeared reasonably clear (I could see the light clearly at about 3') and there was a 20' circle of light surrounding There were thousands of them swarming around the light after about an hour. The light started drawing what appeared to be water fleas almost immediately. Although I did see a few minnows, the drawing location was probably wrong for illustrating large schools of fish. Additionally, I observed some large trout or smallmouth bass darting through the beam of As a result, we caught a large number of small crappies and some very nice perch using a jig that matched the size and shape of the minnows we saw before a storm chased us away. I'm not sure how long this light will last, but I am impressed with the quality and brightness of this light so far, and plan to buy another one in the near future. They are the perfect size for small boats, and I'm looking forward to setting them free at some of the better spots in my kayak. You won't find better quality than this at $100 lights that only last a few trips, and it has a long cord, which is perfect for hanging from bridges and piers at low tide. Should it have further problems in the future, I will update this page.

During the leak, water entered
5/5

Our family bought this product so that we could fish at night on a camping trip. The product arrived in a timely manner and we were During testing, we found a tiny bit of rust, but determined that this must have been due to After we arrived, it filled with water instantly as soon as the light was dropped inside. Despite this, we can't figure out how much of the water got in, so it still has water inside a week later, causing it to rust. Disappointed with the product. After contacting the company, I am now back to square one. In sending me a replacement, they were very prompt and persistent. Currently, the new item is working perfectly and we could not be happier, especially with the customer service we have received!.

I think it is a good product
5/5

I see. Alright. As my boat lights were not working correctly and I didn't have time to replace them and install them, I bought this.
A month ago I went to the Colorado River and joked around with my wife about how light was shining on the water. Why put out a fantastic spread for fish if not to get them to bite? My laughter made me laugh. A small mouth bass measuring 18 plus inches and over 3 feet in length swam up to my feet then over to the light. I nearly jumped out of my chair that was only about a foot in the water. Amazing. I was completely taken aback. When I went out to my boat, which was only about 15 feet from the shore, I saw many different types of small bait fish of various sizes. It's usually not possible for me to fish when I go to the river, but I'm thinking about it The poles are coming with me!.

That light is awesome! hesitant about this light before I tried it in the water, but after I saw how well it worked, I was sold
5/5

My husband used it in the Florida Keys for fishing and we caught a lot of fish within seconds. And it cast about a 6 foot circle of light around it. There were sharks and tarpon attracted to it. Upon buying this light, we caught two fish of 5 feet, a 5 foot nurse shark and a 5 foot tarpon. I highly recommend this book!.

They worked well both times I ordered them
5/5

In my limited experience, I have only used these for one saltwater trip. On that trip, they worked flawlessly for more than 5 nights. No idea if they will last for years to come but I'm happy with them this time. I followed the instructions to only connect to a battery after placing them in the water and to use 8 oz sinkers to hold them in place. After each use of the lights, we rinsed them with fresh water and paired them with ExpertPower's standard 12V 7Ah rechargeable SLA battery (EXP1270-). There is a Coleman 60132 Coleman 12V 1 and a Coleman 60132 Coleman 12V 2. An intelligent battery charger/maintainer/rejuvenator that delivers 5A of power. I found that they did attract small schools of bait fish on calm nights, resulting in more fish being caught than I anticipated. You should not be confused by the picture, as it shows both an above water fishing spotlight and this item. In the left hand side of the picture, there is a bright green glow which indicates the glowing product. As much light as it put out for the price, I'm sure it would shine brighter in clearer water, but I was surprised at how much it gave off in murky water.

This was great for bringing in the smaller critters, but next came the baitfish swarms
5/5

The product does exactly what it should for the price. There is a ring on one end that may be sunk a bit if desired since this floats. Keeping it on the surface alongside a 4 ft tank sunk into the ground. The other night I took the rack out for some crappie fishing. We got a good flurry of small critters, then the baitfish swarmed and then we got **Did well considering the score was 95 The temperature of the water reached 86 degrees during the July heat wave. During deep lake fishing, I caught a big bunch of crappies near humps that are steep and rocky. Fish were brought to the surface by light from depths of approximately 60 feet to 10 feet The number of birds is 15. I'm going to buy this one again when I need another.

Crappie fishing or attracting shad would be a good use for this light
5/5

Excellent LED light. It is very bright and the battery drain is low since it is LED. Crappie is one of my favorite fish, and since I live in Arizona, I like to fish for them at night, when it's a little cooler. I like it when the shad come by the light, and then I can see the crappie move in to get the As well as getting this in white, I wish we could get it in black.

The baitfish are enticed to the bait
5/5

Approximately 20 minutes later, the amount of baitfish in the water was so great that it seemed to boil. It is a better choice than a surface light since it does not attract Observed a large bass bring a school of minnows to the surface. It brought activity to an area that was previously quiet.
