It was a great deal, and it was simple to put together. Some of the backing on the 3M tape came off when I first peeled it off, so I had to add some clear silicon adhesive, but it wasn't a big deal. As a precaution, I caulked the top and bottom of the strips, and everything appears to be in working order; I've been on five trips so far, and everything appears to be in working order.
I installed these on my brand-new fishing boat, and these lights are incredible. They give off a pleasant glow and are incredibly simple to set up. These ultraviolet lights are a little on the pricey side, but they are of the highest quality on the market and, in my opinion, will outperform the high-end $1500 rub rail led lights. I haven't put them in the water yet, but I'm looking forward to fishing with them and seeing how they hold up to dock abuse. For the new season, I may do an update on these in a few months.
I would buy this product again because it was simple to install, looks great at night, and does exactly what it was designed to do.
Lights are incredible. Installing it was a breeze. The sticky back didn't appeal to me. To make it easier, I peeled it off. I simply removed it and applied a thin layer of silicone to the area.
All good.
