There's no doubt that it is more fish friendly, for some reason white lights seem to work better above the water, but I find that green underwater lights work better than white lights, wherever you put them. The green route is the best
A foot to a foot and a half. Though it's not as big as the sun, it does emit quite a bit The construction is good.
haven't tested it for fresh water fish yet, with some success on salt water although it may not work on fresh water fish
Lights always work in pools, so I can't think of any reason why they wouldn't in yours. Is it safe? Your right, it does not electrocute fish, but you will have to supply it with a 12 volt battery. In this case, it should be located near the It is also possible that a swimmer would break the light. Would you please tell me whether you have a pool light? I am a pool service owner. Even if it isn't working, a repair would not be that costly and it would be a much safer alternative.

My transformer has been converted from 12v dc to 120v ac to allow it to be plugged in inside a boathouse or on testing this product over a period of three days, I can confirm that it is successful at bringing in baitfish, which in turn attracts Leaving the light on during the night keeps the larger game fish in the area, which I found to be another advantage. It was easier to catch fish at the dock during daylight hours. It is my intention to purchase another light with higher lumens, I purchased the 1000 lumens model, have a boat house where no fish have ever been caught during the night. this is a good product. I was very pleased with the way my order was My end of the package arrived in a timely fashion with no problems. The program works well. For the reasonable price I paid, I feel like it is a great product. I would highly recommend it.
This one above appears to be well built, and should last for quite a while.
In the photo below is a competitor only about half the size & weight. Per led, brightness appears to be the same, but intensity appears to be different. -

Edit. I have mine running all night long each and every night for 3 months without a leak or a burn. It has been frustrating to have to replace two different units - one due to leaks burning through the LEDs, the other due to a cracked shell burning out the leds. There is a lot more build quality in this one.
The company's nbsp On a sailing trip in the BVIs, I brought this with me in order to attract fish to the boat to look at it. The unit gets very warm when left on in air, and it should only be used when submerged in water as a cooling device. There is a lot of light here, and it's a nice shade of green that doesn't glare too much from above. The tarpon are very large, so after using it every night for a week, we caught a lot of very large fish every day. Seeing them so fascinated with the light made me start to believe they might become hypnotized and forget to eat or do the things they should do! A lot of small fish and even squids and sea turtles stopped by to check it out as well.
Lights that are amazing. In order to fish at night in salt water, I purchased two of them for the boat. It would be good if you ordered another set for fishing on the rocks and hooking up the battery pack to it. The anchovies swarmed up in swarms in the water once they were dropped. One hour after arriving, the sea bass, calico bass, mackerel, and crabs came to the surface and stayed there for hours. It's been 2 more for a total of 4 now. Update 10/04/17 Got another two for a total of 4. shouldn't need to worry about getting a discount just yet, since there are several others still to go. I have added a wire length of about 40 feet on my last two so that they can go deeper. A battery pack has allowed me to use them off the rocks. One of mine broke when I hit it. Although the light itself was not faulty, it was able to be fixed.
It was intended for use on When I installed it in my sink, I found that although the light did function, there was a small leak coming from the top of the light, causing water to accumulate inside Emailing the company with a request for photos, I sent them an email. It’s funny to think that I sent the company pictures, and they wrote me back telling me they couldn’t see any leaks, but they asked me to show them where the water was coming from, like I was lying about a $20 light fixture. There's no real way for me to fix the problem since I can't tell where the leak is coming from. It's now my turn to buy a new light so that I'll have it by the time I go fishing.
There is more This is a great deal when it comes to price and power consumption. The unit works as well as looking great using a 12v outdoor supply. No tears will be shed if it gets wrapped around a prop. If you keep the water in the tub, you need to clean off the tub periodically.
This is the tenth time I am seeing a school of 100 fish! I am amazed how well it worked!.
This was the first pair of lights I bought, thinking they would be a novelty item. Amidst the chaos, he threw himself. The family went on a houseboat trip to Lake Shelbyville with them, but I didn't fish with them. With high winds and heavy rains, the water had become murky at best and had very little sustainability. Wiring them together and dropping them off the side just below the surface resulted in an inverter that's water proof. This is not something I can complain about. The surface was filled with large quantities of baitfish right away and like a frat boy keg party, stragglers kept coming to the surface I did not experience any problems with the lights after use of about five hours. They appear to be sturdy and water-tight. A couple more are definitely on the way. It would be inexpensive and well worth the investment, but you'll need to develop a method to suspend them under the table, either by placing them off the side or doing it with an extension pole a la.
