My recommendation is to stay away from this reel at all costs. There's no doubt that this reel would be good if it didn't tangle often. The reel I received is very disappointing to me. The model I have is deficient and I would like to exchange it for a newer one The reel should not have failed in this manner, and I would definitely not purchase it again. I would return it immediately. This is extremely disappointing and I will not be watching it again.

There are scratches on the record reel, the paperwork has been altered, and the box was opened. I am not as happy about it as I should be.
The 13 Fishing Inline reel is a great reel for anglers.
Using Ice Angler equipment, I expect the best out of my equipment as a professional. In addition to wearing Black Betty 6061's and having the original Free Fall reels, I am a fan of 13 fishing products. In any case, this reel is an absolute failure. After every single descent and catch I must remove the reel and untangle the line from inside the gear space because the line always spools inside and will not respool in the correct way as directed under This reel is junk and will be returned if possible. I have taken line off and broken it off, and other things have been tried to solve the problem. I believe the plastic spool is catching the line.
