The T- 990- Replacement Winch Post (ONLY) includes two ubolts for mounting to a 3" sq. (a longer u-shape is an option) 3" wide bolts x 4" tall or 3" wide x 5" high (if ordered through our website, veveinc. com) OR the T-shirt (if ordered through our website, veveinc. com). 992- 2" sq. The Winch Post (ONLY) comes with four tap bolts that allow you to mount it to a frame with a width of up to three inches. 3" wide by 3" tall NOTE: Both posts are only available with the bow roller assembly. in addition a mounting plate for a winch on a 3" sq. This does not use u-bolts because of the way it attaches to the trailer. bolts. It comes with two clamp bars with a series of holes to fit various trailer widths (2"-4"). 3" wide). The 3/8" (full threaded) bolts are long enough for frames with a height of up to 3". As a result, the product can be mounted to a 2" wide x 3" high frame. It was simple to mount on my northern tool folding trailer, which I use to transport kayaks. To go with the trailer, it was painted black.
The item is of good quality, all of the parts are in the box, and shipping was quick. br>br>The only criticism I have is that the assembly instructions are more like a medical textbook than Ikea's. What I mean is that the provided instructions (one side 8x11 paper picture) aren't very good, and you'll need some intuition to put it together. Having said that, the product is excellent, and I would purchase it again. My fishing boat is a 17-foot Lund, and it's plenty big enough for me and my trailer.
It was sturdy and did the job I needed it to do. The product was well-made, with the exception of a few missing bolts for the hardware, which had no bearing on the overall quality.
It arrived quickly, was simple to install, and the winch mounting holes were perfectly aligned.
I had a question about installation, so I emailed the manufacturer. In less than an hour, I received a phone call with the answer. The part and the service I received were both excellent.
It's of good quality and exactly as described. I recommend it.
