My boat has a capacity of sixteen people. 5.It works fine on mine, which is about 5 feet long. only a few straps remain I hope this is useful to you.
Contact the manufacturer if you want to know the exact rated strength. It was a perfect replacement for the original strap on our 1995 boat in terms of practical use; No problems at all.
Winch Strap for the Shoreline Marine Winch 2- Inch X 20' has performed admirably, with no problems to report. When securing the boat to the trailer, the strap does not stretch. It's cinched up nice and tight. It comes highly recommended from me!
Mine isn't on the SS list.

It's a fairly sturdy strap, so I won't be concerned about it snapping while cranking up the boat for at least a few years (the Arizona sun ages everything). However, the clip's spring broke after the first use, and the hook fell out of the eyelet as I was cranking it up. I was able to hook the boat by maintaining tension, but monitoring it while cranking is still a pain.
On the way home today, I noticed that my boat was moving a little faster than usual and decided to investigate. The hook on the strap snapped.
It looks nice, and I'm confident it can handle the 340-pound load I'll throw at it, so that's all that matters. br>I don't mind if the hook isn't galvanized because I clean my boat thoroughly after each use and have plenty of bolts on hand to secure the strap the winch-mounted winch-mounted winch-mounted winch-mounted winch-mounted winch-mounted winch-mounted winch-mounted winch-mounted winch-mounted winch-mounted winch-mounted winch-mounted win spool. It was delivered on time and in good condition. br>br>.
On a 2011 Yahama AR240 trailer (24' bowrider), an aging strap was replaced with an inexpensive, simple replacement. Although it appears to be of the same high quality as the original MFI trailer strap, its weight rating is actually higher. If you don't save the nut/bolt from the original strap, you'll either have to buy a slightly more expensive kit or add your own replacement (which would be a pain in the neck).
This is a shoreliner, and on my second outing with it, the small retainer clip broke. What a pain it is to be held up at the ramp by garbage like this. I'm not sure where you can get a good winch strap these days.
Strap, who was 12 at the time, gave up as expected. In less than five minutes, this one was up and running. Another 12 years spent worrying about a boat's rest.
It really works. You must ensure that the strap remains flat, or else it will look sloppy. The strap has a sewn loop on the inside end that connects to the drum's winch bottom. My winch's drum had several side holes where a 1/4" x 2 1/2" long bolt could be inserted to securely connect the strap to the winch. This is a great connection. If you don't have any holes, you won't be able to do anything. It certainly ought to; Drill a hole near the bottom of the drum on each side.
Exactly what I was looking for to replace the strap on my Moomba wakeboard boat, high-quality seat belt style material with a beefier hook than the stock strap and more than enough stitching to feel secure, hook is deep enough that the safety latch can close around the Dring. Perfect Purchase.
