Questions & Answers

In order to prevent cable slippage, does the vinyl cover have to be removed from the portion of the cable that will be crimped? Would you be able to tell me how you perform it?

Crimping the vinyl coating is what I do. Thick and tough, it looks like a razor blade. Whenever I try to remove it, it will cling to my hair.

The color of vinyl is sand tone, right?

There is a clear coating on the surface. am not able to purchase sand tone

The crimps need to be secured with a swager tool, right? A pair of pliers would work, or something similar?

Maybe it will depend on what you want to use it for. I only need to hang a light picture frame or similar item, pliers or similar tools are most likely sufficient. If I need to catch big sharks or secure important equipment, I would spend another $15 or so. The best crimping pliers cost around 20 dollars. My apologies, but I am not sure what you mean by a swagger

This type of cable would be suitable for securing decorations outdoors. Can anyone tell me the size of the hole I would have to drill to accommodate this cable?

A hole with a diameter of 2mm must be used

It has been designed as an ultimate replacement pull-up for rust-proof appliances Located on a gate latch, this cable
5/5

In no way did I use this to fish. The rusted pulley on the door was replaced by it It is used on the latch of a gate. In my experience, most gate latches come with cheap, galvanized steel cables and cable clamps that rust eventually. I live within a mile of salt water on the coast, which means this cable rusts a lot more often than not. It was a small investment in time and materials for me to replace the cable, since I already had cutters and a crimping tool. In order to make the replacement easier to handle, I made it about twice as long as the original, so that, with groceries especially, it is easier to grab and pull.

The beaches, piers, and boats will all benefit from the sand
4/5

If you are a fisherman and do not want to use single strand cable, or piano wire, then this wire is best for you. Corrosion is not an issue with it. Tiger sharks and thresher sharks are not affected by its bite. Thus far, I have not encountered a cable failure. Positive aspects - The cable is easy to crimp, flexible, and strong. The metal has been coated in order to protect it from rust. Unlike most other filaments, it does not come on a spool, which is a disadvantage. A snagged cable tends to bend and does not straighten if it gets a hold of it.

I like it! It's a good product, with the coded design it's easy to use and you don't get poked by the wire
5/5

This is something I use There hasn't been an occasion when I have lost a shark because of this cable. It has always been because of my 80-pound spear. Now I am going to make another order.

For its size, this thin bed is exceptionally strong and supple
5/5

I've never dealt with a bed like this. In addition to being very small stainless steel cable, it is vinyl coated. It is the best I've purchased in small diameter. This is perfect for hanging lights or for shelving. Furthermore, I guess I could have gone fishing, but I didn't. In spite of its tiny size, this stuff is amazingly strong and supple.

Cable with a fat core
3/5

There are no blind fish on the California coast that you can catch with this method. You may as well have a pinky as thick as your thumb. Cutting clean when making leaders is important. Any person can land a fish worthy of its size, but I challenge them to do it. The best way to fish this type of line is with solid strands. You're talking about a huge deal!.

That's not as great a diameter as I had expected
4/5

Originally I would have been using this product to replace a weight machine cable that had broken, but I couldn't find it. That was a surprise to me because it is thin. The cable could still be used on the machine after I doubled it.
