Not only are the pockets lined, they are also unlined. The noise is not there.

How do the big pockets of this vest feel? Do they feel like plastic?

It may be plastic, but I don't recall seeing any.

The skin is thin and light

It seems like there are close to 20 pockets in this top, which is pretty thin but is holding up well so far. All the zippers are metal and if you're riding a motorcycle, them scratching the tank can lead to serious injury.

A good product. In the heat, I wear it over a t-shirt made of high performance fabric While the weather has been hot, it has been nice to wear this shirt. Usage of a conceal carry weapon.
