Questions & Answers

Can you use this to hunt?

Hunting would not be my favorite use for this. As such, it would be impossible to use it as a snare because it is completely non-lethal. In my opinion, it is best to keep hunting with bows and firearms.

Would you mind giving me the chest measurements of this ?

6 is the answer. The dimensions of this item are 5 inches long by 2 inches wide. A depth of five inches and a height of seven inches. The height of this item is 75 inches.

What are the lengths of the waist straps?

If you roll them up and secure them or if you cut them off, you can get them out of the way.

there a way to remove the fly patch in the small front pocket?

However, it is a great spot for floatants. This is a very good website

Selected User Reviews For Allen Bear Creek Micro Fishing Chest Vest, Olive small fly fishing chest vest

I loved how well this bag was made and how comfortable it was, with all the right compartments and The few comments I have to add do not add much, but I will mention that I am not a fly fisherperson Smallies are my primary catch here in Tennessee, so I bank and kayak fish my local rivers primarily for smallies, and this pack has delivered everything I expected Among the lures I have are MAN TRD stick baits) and other lures, jig heads, hooks, hemostats, bullet weights, etc
5/5

and there is still It's also easy for me to fit a 2003 Flambeau Tuff Tainer small tackle box in the main compartment without having much else to cram in it, which I appreciate The product you mentioned is highly recommended -- You can buy them at Walmart for very low prices. In addition, I like the "dry" pouch, which I can use for my iPhone 7. There are no clear guidelines on how to use the water I would like to think it's water-resistant (hope I never have to find out), but even a quick tumble doesn't seem to end my phone's life. It was between this and the Allen fishing sling that I was torn about getting, but I went with this because of the price and reviews and am not sorry I did. I'm bank fishing, I drape it across my body like a sling, and when I'm kayak fishing or wading, I use the handy buckle straps to convert it into a face pack. Whatever the case may be, it's perfect for my purposes and very comfortable to wear. Now, for all those reviewers who are basing their feedback on how well it fits their handgun, I just have one question for you. The Bronx is a good place to fish? Would you consider going on tactic ops where there is a possibility of fishing? Gear that is lighter will definitely benefit from this. I recommend you leave the Ruger behind and take the Rapala instead.

This is a good quality product, but it needs improvement
4/5

I like the general design and function of this product. In addition to stating the improvements I noticed, one of my biggest concerns was not knowing how large a fly box would fit within the main compartment. Buyers should know that my medium fly box measures 7 3/4" by 4 1/2" by 1 3/4". Fly boxes like this fit snugly in the main compartment of our vests and still allow for items such as Musilin floatent and a small bag of weights to be carried. In the smaller compartment, you can easily store a small box of indicators and perhaps a small bottle of There are two tippet reels outside the small compartment in which the tippet is hung. It is necessary to add basic tools that I carry and fix the straps in order for these enhancements to be effective. The plastic loops on each of the holding loops were too thick to hold my common tools including a back net with magnet release, a case for my fly fishing sunglasses, and a Zinger retracting accessory clip. There were three loops on the plastic so I needed three carabiners. In terms of the adjustment straps, they are sized well, but the way they are held in place is simply a cheap elastic loop holder that is too weak to secure the There were four 1" X 3" pieces of Velcro I had on hand, so I attached them to the four straps. This keeps the loose straps from dangling around and gets in my way, and allows for adjustments if need be. There are a few small, but important issues that prevent this from being a five-star experience.

The best quality for the best price
5/5

The purpose of this purchase is to fish with Tenkara. I find it to be just right. I can easily fit everything I need in it and then some, and it works well for Tenkara's minimalistic approach. A price point at this price is unbeatable in terms of quality. I like the way it is designed and that it is functional too. A great feature is the spool holder for the leader, as I only take two There are 3 spools I bring with me, depending on what fish I am chasing. The bag is on my back and out of the way, so I can keep my net there. The game was fun (a This keeps my stuff high and dry when I wade for it. Despite its thickness, I am not hesitant to work with it when casting, and I only take what I need. It is now just a storage unit for my traditional canvas vest. There are a lot of things I like about As well as their wader bag and their air rifle case (the Ruger one), I have their waders.

For those tired of carrying around a big bulky bag full of things they don't need, this is the perfect solution
5/5

This little thing holds all my necessities so I can ditch my big bulky vest. I love it and glad I ditched my big bulky vest. In addition to the nymph box, the dry box includes a small splitting shot container, several leaders, several indicators, and desecant powder in addition to the nail knot tool. Additionally, there are attachments and hooks to carry everything else I might need while fishing. I have Hemos

Snips
T- There is a bar-style tippet holder, a small fly patch, and an attachment on the back for my netting. This pack is just big enough to hold everything I need, but not so big that I just stuff more gear and gadgets into it. On the river, I think more about what I NEED to do instead of what I WANT to do. "Oh, I see!" Okay, I will buy it and leave it in my vest for a year before I discover it again. I like the fact that it's made well, that it's equipped to handle everything I need and that its size is just about right for a river cruise.

I'm really happy with this product
5/5

While fishing, it was a great place to keep all my tackle. This is a great fishing product I would recommend to anyone. There's not a huge amount of space, but enough gear can be stored.

For a whole day, you don't need more than that
5/5

I really liked this pack, it has a few extra supplies and was just the right size for my essentials. In order to keep my pockets stocked with tips, fly boxes, flotant and a leader spool every time I went fishing, I bought a fly box and a fly box holder. There is nothing better than a good day pack like this. I may swap out the flask for a small water filter since it would be a bit more comfortable with one stuffed inside. Another thing I would have liked to see was a place to store a tenkara rod while using A great little pack that doesn't take up too much time and eliminates the hassle.

I loved the chest pack it was a great ride and didn't cause me to have any discomfort. All the 5 star reviews were true, Allen did a wonderful job designing it. The perfect accessory for minimalist fishing, it's a perfect tool when you don't need it, but it's always at your fingertips.

The chest pack is nice

Exactly what you need to carry just a few items at a great price. As well as holding a compact Glock, it has room for a subcompact pistol. The only thing I don't care for is the logo, but that's not an issue.
