It will work fine after sitting inside all night in the warm.
When I first got this range finder in July of 2021, it worked perfectly. In preparation for hunting season, I was able to sight in my bow accurately. When I try to use it on the second day of archery, however, the unit does not read correctly. It says 6 everywhere I aim. 8 yards. When I used the same range finder to determine the proper distances of 30 and 44 yards, This rangefinder is not one I would recommend, and I am disappointed in Bushnell's product.
There was no case, no lens cover, and no lens cleaning cloth included. I expected the package to include some basic items.
Wow. I'm suddenly aware of the distance between things. Purchased for hunting, but also used for golf and determining the distance between nearby trees. The majority of them are closer than I had anticipated. br>Because I guess and then use the range finder, this has helped me estimate distances more accurately. It's both a toy and a tool at the same time. I used to hunt and golf without one for years, but it does help pass the time while I'm sitting in a tree stand trying to figure out my effective range.
This was purchased as a backup to my off-brand Wosports rangefinder, which I have used on several hunts. br>At nearly twice the price, I wasn't impressed. br>I'm not sure what I was expecting, but my mailbox was 64 yards away, according to this rangefinder. br>I spent $70 on my off-brand. My mailbox was number 63, according to my 00 rangefinder. 6 yards. br>Optics are the same when it comes to not being crystal clear. br>They both feel the same in your hand. br>This range finder will be a great addition to my gear, but I would have been better off spending the extra $70 on another Wosports range finder. 00 to be used for another purpose.
I've used it for hunting, and it can be difficult to get a good range if there are branches or brush in the way. When you have a wide field of vision, this is ideal.
I had the Wosports 700yd and returned it the same day. It was clumsy, inaccurate, and made of "toy-grade" plastic. I received the value for my money. br>br>I chose a reputable name and have been pleased with it thus far. It's tough, has significantly improved optics and controls, is constructed of durable aluminum and plastic, and is extremely accurate. As expected, it is somewhat bulky.
The item is well-made, precise, and simple to operate. The outside finish and the focus adjustment are the only flaws I have with the product. Whether you're wearing gloves or not, the finish is slick in your hand when you're trying to get a range. So squeeze it extra tight when you're trying to get a range on that Boone 180" you've been after all year. It's very easy to lose track of the focus adjustment. The rangefinder I have needs to be refocused almost every time I take it out of my pack, and there aren't any easy ways to remember where you set it the last time. Once it's focused, however, it's super clear and performs admirably in low light situations. Overall, I like this product a lot; give it a try!.
