The purchase was a good one overall. I would buy again if the price is right. The total number of balls received was 48. A mesh bag is used in place of a bucket when delivering the balls. The golf ball that was TaylorMade was one of them. There is a listing for "cosmetically challenged" balls on Amazon, and I believe that's a pretty accurate description. A close inspection indicates that every one has some kind of blemish, with the exception of maybe three or four. Some of these include lack of paint or logos, a tiny torn area or a major scuff that may make some titles It is not a problem for me to send them into the shallow water of the hazard from which they likely came. Logos can be found on some. The color of some of them is Markings can be seen on some. There were 19 scuffed surfaces out of 48 that I noted. There was a small gash on 2 of them as if they had been struck by a mower blade, but nothing major. Blunder in the ball game The following are the results of 10 out of 10. I could have purchased them in a mesh bag for a lower price, but I chose this one because they came in a bucket and I was buying this It feels like I was taken advantage of.
The mesh bag that they came in instead of the bucket as pictured did not match the picture. It still came in a mesh bag when I requested a second order. As depicted in the pictures, the reality is different! Due to this being a gift, I wanted to keep.
It is estimated that only five golf balls are in good condition (hit just a few times or less, with no scratching, scuffing, or pen marks). A few balls were very badly scuffed beyond use, but they still make good purchases. This is the first time I have seen these balls undergo such a thorough process, but it does not appear they receive more than soap water treatments. You are better off finding lost balls under the forest yourself since these sacks do not add anything to the game.
For the upcoming golf season, I have ordered two sets of 48 balls. I didn't get what I had seen advertised in the picture, when the package arrived. They were delivered in a net bag, not a tub. It was no big deal, until the packaging caused the balls to escape from one bag during shipping. From one, I received only six, while from the other, I received 48. it was determined that the balls dislodged from the top of the bag because it was not secured properly, and the filler for the box that was shipped was those air bags, which of course deflated when the balls were shifted by shifting weights.
These practice balls are for my dad to put in his trunk. Having them in a bucket meant they wouldn't spill out all over the trunk while driving. The letters were received in a mesh bag, but were enclosed in a padded envelope. I now have to buy a container so they don't roll all over the trunk of his car when he drives it. My disappointment is great!.
Of course, I was aware of that. As far as cosmetics were concerned, it was unattractive. I wouldn't consider them for tournament play since some had scuffs that might mess with flight pattern. But, I didn't buy them for tournament play, so I suppose The markings on 19 of the 49 balls were those of players. I have listed below the number and shape of each ball I received from The practice ball is not included, merely 1 x "generic".
A product description that states that "The packaging may vary from the image" is probably the single and most ridiculous exaggeration about this product. I got mine in an onion sack, as I did, along with countless others. I have purchased this product again due to its great value.
