They were great in color and good quality. After my husband broke his ankle, I purchased these for him. It was impossible for him to wear anything. Low-cut socks are something he has never had before but these worked well and have now become his only pair of socks. My son purchased these socks because they go perfectly with khaki trousers, and because the size was stated as XL, but he wears a size 13 shoe, plus he has ankle swelling that he couldn't wear regular socks. There is no problem with these. Despite his swollen ankle, the socks are thick and substantial and fit over it. In his shoes, they fit well. It comes out like new when I wash these in dark woolite with the regular dark wash and let them dry in the dryer. It is the special fabric in these socks that makes them stand out. Unlike thin and flimsy materials, it is solid and sturdy.

They are enough wicking, they don't slide, and they're just high enough, but they're rather expensive. If you need a great fit, buy this The sock should not slip under your heel if you have a shoe size between 12 inches and 15 inches. A size 11 is perfect for me because I'm 5'11" and wear it.
