Material is dry wicking and has a stretch waist. This pair of shorts is amazing. They're identical to the ones you'd buy in a store. I like the stretch band for work and golf because it is made of the same high-quality material. This is my 15th pair, and my first pair, which I bought six years ago, is still being worn on a weekly basis.
This pair of shorts is perfect for me. The 7- I'm very pleased with the inch length because it's extremely difficult to come by. Some people may find them too short, but 9-inch heels are a good compromise. The inch length hits me at the knee, which is fine for casual shorts, but I prefer to have the extra material out of the way when I'm golfing. I also tried the Amazon basics shorts. They were a good fit, and they were 9-inch heels. These PGA Tour shorts had a one-inch inseam, but the fabric was much heavier. I'm not sure why manufacturers don't understand the importance of "dri-ability" in wet environments. Wet cotton clothing is just as heavy and uncomfortable as "fit" clothing. The PGA Tour shorts are lightweight, but not at all frail. I like them so much that I bought three different colors of them.
These shorts are comfortable and stylish. When sitting, however, the pockets protrude out the legs of the shorts. They look great when you're standing, but not so much when you're sitting, and especially not when your legs are crossed. The issue stems from a flaw in the design. The pockets should be smaller, and the legs should be longer. A phone-carrying pocket can protrude up to five inches from the leg. The pockets would be worthless if they didn't have enough depth.
Unlike nearly every other company's golf shorts, they don't look like clown pants on me. The proof of the pudding is in the eating - I bought a second pair in a different color, and I'm thinking about getting some more!.
It's difficult for me to find bermuda golf shorts that fit properly because I'm a big guy. These are true to size, with a bit of wiggle room in the hips so you can keep golf balls, tees, and other small items in your pocket without stretching them out every time you reach into your pocket. The color is lovely, and the length is perfect. I'd prefer them to be an inch or two longer, but they look great and are perfect for snooty 1950s golf clubs.
I would have slashed the length by 5 inches.
At the PGA superstore, I purchased a pair. I returned to get more because I liked them so much, but they were all sold out. I found these on Amazon and ordered them, but they're about 2 to 3 inches shorter than the pair I purchased at the PGA superstore. They're a bit too short for my liking.
Excellent quality, moisture-wicking, long-lasting, and soft. I'm 5'10" and these hit just above the knees, so they don't feel like baggy or short shorts on me. Swinging is possible if there is enough space and flexibility. Try these first if you're looking for something that doesn't have an 11" inseam for golf.
