In order to test out the Tough Outfitters Cooling Towel I took a 30-minute nap with it We decided to take a 15-minute hike on a day when the temperature was in the high 90s and humidity was high. By wrapping the towel around my neck, a cooler airflow was imparted to me than I would have experienced otherwise. It took a long time for the towel to dry completely after coming inside. We stayed in the damp and cool weather for a long time.

Repositioning is necessary often, but it does the job

The liquid does offer some cooling when you are in a hot situation. When we go hiking or on walks in hot weather, we use them. Each time I wear it, I have to reposition it on my neck. The water cools off even further once it is sprayed with fresh cold water. Adding more water will not decrease its lifespan. If I keep repositioning it, it will last about an hour without needing more water. There are 4 of them, each in a different color. Washing them in a machine will not remove any stains.

In one layer, there are solid areas and on the other, there are perforations. Initially, I soaked it and then tried it against my body with the perforated side facing me but did not find it to be What a difference it made when I flipped the fabric around so the perforated side was on the outside! I just lifted the object and "aired it out" for a few seconds after it warmed for a few seconds, and it was cool once more. especially love how it extends long enough to be draped back behind my neck and even over my shoulders for extra cooling. Since I've changed my mind about Cooling Towels, I can't go back!.

I would get free ice water, pour some of it on them, ring them out, and we'd be done! On a hot, sunny day, a refreshing respite is much needed! I have four children, and with my younger children we bought these to keep the baby cool, and we put one on our three year old son while he slept in the stroller. Our older boys (7 and 10) wore them as bandannas or around their necks. It was the first time my husband has commented on how helpful they were and how much he appreciated their service. Having to spend a lot of time in the heat made me feel thirsty and these cooling towels helped me get rid of it.

Originally, I had mentioned that the towel was an item I received as a gift. It would have been better if I had received The towel will function better if it is properly oriented. Is as good as it says it is! These were lifesavers for us after we purchased two of them, one in the red color and one in the gray color

The climate of where we live is very cold and dry, but we went on a vacation to a number of countries with hot and humid weather. It took us only a few seconds to wet them under cold water and they kept us cool for hours. You may need to rewet them as the water evaporates, but we didn't have problems There was a longer time than I anticipated that they would be wet. It is important to wring them out properly before wearing them, and they shouldn't leave wet marks on clothes. In order to clean them, I tossed them in a delicates laundry bag and washed them along with our other I discovered the color didn't leach out and the garments are clean and soft after washing.
