Yoga blocks - I have a lot of them There are cheap and quality (Manduka) items I think they are at the top of the list, because they are solid, strong, and lightweight. These blocks and straps are great for anyone that enjoys practicing yoga at home. So that my roommate and I could both practice without having to share blocks, I got a couple of these. We can each have a set that is personalized to our personal tastes since it comes in so many different colors. One star was docked because the blocks are thin, and if you're trying to put a lot of weight on them while they're vertical they might not be as stable as they should be. Except for that, they're a really good affordable option for practicing yoga at home.
Since early March, I've been practicing yoga at home (quarantine!) and lately have been looking for some yoga blocks and a strap to use. The set is very good, high quality, and the price is also reasonable. I have only good things to say about them, and now I'm eyeing other items from the same brand- all of which have high review averages, so that tells you something about the brand. We were surprised by the smell of turpentine. It seems ironic that the blocks are said to be odorless, but they are far from that. As soon as I unwrapped the package, I was blasted with a strong chemical smell that reminded me of turpentine. Even after letting it air for a few days, the smell still persisted. As I spoke to the seller, iuga, they said that they had contacted the factory who explained that this issue does not occur all the time and it is the first time they are encountering Caveat emptor. I do have my doubts about a factory producing only one set of blocks with a strong chemical smell, while the other sets are odorless. I will leave that decision to the buyer.
The strap around my foot is long enough for me to grab both ends while it's wrapped around my foot while I'm 6'3â€TM tall. A surprising amount of weight can be carried by the blocks! It doesn't seem like they compress much when I put a lot of weight on them. Because they were thinner in one direction than other blocks I've used at studios, they were less stable in the middle and tall directions. The 'floor extenders' do not cause me to fall over, my balance is good enough that I don't have to worry about falling over even when I'm using them.
It's a quality block that's used every day for stretching and it works well. This set includes two blocks and a fabric belt, and they look to be high-quality. We got them in purple, and we are pleased with how they turned out.
They seem to really focus on customer service and providing quality products, and I am interested in their business. There are a few things that I like about this block set versus the one I have in my gym's If you are a yogi, you know how awkward that can be when you are on your side.
