You'll need a stud if you plan on hanging Olympic-sized bars from this. I wouldn't put that much weight on drywall alone.

During the mad rush, I even managed to get the very last one. The shipping process was a disaster, and the estimated delivery date was changed three times. Finally, I was able to contact an Amazon representative who discovered the problem with the shipping and resolved it. The wait was well worth it. It took some tinkering to get it to work, but it's now up and running. Dig it. I'd suggest it. Buy it!.
I used to have a name-brand vertical bar storage system, but it required lifting and placing the barbell into a ground-level tube. I wanted something that could be hung on the wall and the bars could easily slide into place. As a result, I was ecstatic when I discovered this. I currently have three barbells (two men's olympic bars and one women's olympic bar) and they all work well. It's hung between two studs on a stringer, and it's very sturdy. Barbells are simple to remove and replace, which is ideal after a tough lifting session. br>br>I'll buy another when I get a new barbell.
While the holder itself is sturdy, the hardware that comes with it is a complete waste of time. Hand-tightening the bolts with a screwdriver causes the bolts to strip. I would have bought something else if I had known I'd have to spend an extra $10 on hardware.
I used it to store barbells in my home gym, but it also works well for kayak and SUP paddles. This barbell rack is extremely sturdy, so the paddles are probably overkill. There are also two sets of holes for 16" and 12" wall stud spacing, as well as very thick plastic protector pads for your equipment. Overall, this is a well-designed piece of gym equipment that is built to last for many years in a home gym or commercial setting.
The products from Yes4All are exceptional! br>To hold and store all of my barbell equipment, I recently added this Barbell Wall Mount to my garage gym. br>My only criticism is that, as shown in the photos, the spacing between each barbell slot could be a little wider to accommodate different types of barbells. I've slightly angled the wider tricep bar to make it fit. I bought this because I already had a Yes4All Landmine Attachment and an Olympic Weight Plate Wall Mount for my home gym, both of which I found to be well-made products. br>I bought this because I already had a Yes4All Landmine Attachment and an Olympic Weight Plate Wall Mount for my home gym, both of which I found to be well-made products. br>I'll keep buying Yes4All equipment as needed in the future!.
It does not come with instructions, so those who are not handy or who do not read the reviews will have to learn the hard way. Overall, this is an excellent product.
I have two Olympic bars and two 1" bars hanging from it, so it appears to be well constructed. The plastic slots aren't cut wide enough, which is my only criticism. For my Olympic bars, I had to take a file to them.
It holds a 45-pound barbell and an olympic curl bar and was easy to put together. br>br>Picked this because it was a good price and it fit the 16 inch spacing on the studs; I just had to drill the hole first because I don't think the screws would have dug in properly/easily into the wood otherwise.
