Questions & Answers

Is this rack capable of supporting a certain amount of weight?

It's a sturdily constructed rack. Right now, I have dumbells ranging in weight from 15 pounds to 75 pounds on it. It is still in excellent condition.

Are the dimensions as follows: 2x40. 5x22. 53x32x21 or a total of 8?

The distance between the outer edges of each upright frame piece was 51. 5". The distance would most likely be 52 if the black feet on the base bar were included. The base bars have a depth of 22 inches from front to back. 5". The rack's tallest point is somewhere around 40 inches. Between the ages of 25 and 40 5", which is the point where the upright frame pieces meet.

Is it possible to use this rack on all three shelves for only light weights (10 pounds or less)? Is it possible that the space between the rails at the bottom is too large?

Yes, I have hex weights ranging from 8 to 50 pounds on my rack.

Can someone tell me how much rack space I have available, excluding the rack support bolt heads? Dumbbells on top of bolt heads are something I'd rather avoid. Thanks! ?

You can use almost the entire thing, or as many dumbbells as you can fit on it. This item is extremely durable and does an excellent job. My DBs are a mixture of 2- and 4-digit numbers. 90lbs. There are no issues. By the way, I have a lot of these.

Please don't be fooled by the price
5/5

I looked everywhere for a sturdy rack that could hold my 5-pound bag of groceries. I looked for other dumbbell sets that were more expensive than this one and found that many of them had poor reviews- You name it: sagging under heavy weight, not true to size, won't fit an even number of pairs, and so on. But I came across the XMark brand and, despite the fact that there were only a few (albeit positive) reviews, I took a chance and ordered two of them to hold my entire set, and I am completely satisfied! The build quality is unbeatable for the price. The racks did require some assembly, which I was able to complete in under 20 minutes. And it was well worth the effort. Not only do these hold every pair, but they also show no signs of stress beneath the weights. They're also very attractive.

Strong, low-cost rack that can accommodate a large number of bells
4/5

While it isn't the most attractive or heavy-duty rack available, you can't go wrong with it for the money. The 4439, unlike almost every other rack at this price point, uses heavy gauge angle iron steel runners to keep the dumbbells from bending. "How many bells will it hold?" was the burning and difficult-to-answer question I had when I bought it. Well, if you want to fill each 48" rack to the brim with standard rubber coated hex bells (CAP, etc. ) split in relatively even weight ratios from 5-to-1, that's a possibility. Pairs of 5s, 8s, 10s, 12s, 15s, and 20s can be stored on the top rack, pairs of 25s, 30s, 40s, and 50s can be stored on the middle rack, and pairs of 60s, 80s, and 100s can be stored on the bottom rack. In total, there are 13 pairs. Because standard uncoated iron hex bells are slightly smaller than their rubber counterparts, they will fit the same denominations.

Dumbbell rack of excellent quality
5/5

This rack is constructed of heavy gauge steel, and the hardware is included. Bolts, nuts, and washers are all items that can be found in a hardware store. solid as well. With a large ratchet, I had no trouble torqueing them. The heads were not chewed up, and the shafts were not broken. br>br>Another advantage is that each successively lower rack sits away from the one above, so you don't bump your head on the higher ones as you reach for lower racks. In contrast to some products, where everything is a blur, the directions are clear and the illustrations are easy to see. br>br>I put it together (it took me about 1. 5 hours). When it comes to using hand tools, I consider myself to be slightly above average. A novice should probably enlist the assistance of a friend to hold the cross bars in place while the bolts are tightened. Two 11/16-inch socket or head wrenches or ratchets are required. It wouldn't hurt to specify which tool sizes you'll need in the instructions. The bolt hole did not line up for some people. br>br> You weren't doing it correctly if you had that problem. A flyer with a phone number to call for technical assistance was also included by the company. br>br>About this rack, I have nothing but positive things to say.

Add a fourth
5/5

I'll round up to the nearest five. For the money, this is a good, sturdy rack. In reality, it's closer to four. 5 stars. The only criticism I have is that the back "lip" portion of each level is a little too high. I have a 5-year-old daughter. 50 Body- This rack can easily accommodate a solid rubberized hex db set. The issue is that the dumbbell handles (up to about the 30 lb. dumbbell) hit that back lip. dummy weights). As a result, the hexadecimal notation is used. The top of your head is not resting on the ground. The head is large enough to lay on the surface as intended once the weight reaches 30 pounds. It's not necessary for that back lip to be as high as it is. They'd most likely be able to reduce it by half. It could be shortened by an inch or two and still hold dumbbells in place. It's a minor point, but it's good enough for a half-star. Otherwise, this is a good buy for a home gym. br>br>Shipping was prompt, the packaging was excellent, and all necessary hardware was included. Assembling it is fairly simple.

Dumbbell rack that is both sturdy and well-built
5/5

This rack arrived yesterday, and I quickly put it together. Just keep in mind that you shouldn't tighten all of the bolts until you've made all of the connections. Before tightening everything, it's a good idea to use a small level to check that everything is straight. This has plenty of room for my 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, 45, and 50 pound dumbbells.

For a great dumbbell rack, this is a fantastic price
5/5

This dumbbell rack is fantastic. Extremely strong and simple to assemble. Because the box it came in was beat to hell, I was concerned that something might be bent or dinged when it arrived. However, none of the components were harmed. I particularly like how the nuts and bolts required for assembly were shrink wrapped. You can quickly double-check that you have all of the necessary components on hand. Plastic was also used to cover all of the individual steel parts. It's a fantastic rack that can accommodate all of the dumbbells that most people will ever require. When compared to other racks that can hold as many dumbbells as this one, the price is also very reasonable. Five stars are well deserved.

It's sturdy and practical
5/5

XMARK has come up with a fantastic rack. In my home gym, I have a few of their products, all of which are of high quality. It works perfectly with the Amazon Basics Hex Rubber Dumbbells. It has a lot of room and will most likely last me a long time. br>br>Keep in mind that putting this together without a proper socket and wrench set would be a pain in the neck. I recommend using the correct tools and possibly enlisting the help of a friend to help you assemble certain pieces.

Sturdy
4/5

There's plenty of room for weights to be stacked. This is a fantastic product that is both durable and fashionable. However, if you try to put this together according to their instructions, you will go insane. They say to wait until everything is put together before tightening the bolts. The truth is that you won't be able to put anything together until you tighten the bolts at each step of the process. Prepare to bring your own equipment as well. The tools required to assemble this rack are not provided by the manufacturer. br>Overall, I think it's a great book. There's plenty of room for your weights to be stacked.
