The individual sets of weight that I can buy at a slight premium are available if I ever need more weight. The plate weights are just what I had in mind. They fit my XM-75 drill perfectly The plates and rubber coating on the 3675 EZ Curl Bar fit perfectly, and they feel sturdy and durable. Also, I like that it has slots so it is easier to handle the weights one-handed.

Another point to note is that these are slimmer than other plates, making it easier to stack weights. It has lots of potential and I hope to see you.

As a disclaimer, I am writing to let you know about Xmark's return policy, which is misleading since they don't have one, in most cases. I haven't found any to be worthwhile. My expectation was that UPS would provide free shipping for return, but I was informed that I would have to pay for return shipping, which would cost in the vicinity A "Restocking Fee," of 25%, would have amounted to approximately $55 in addition to the Restocking Fee. I would have had to spend well over $150 on this. I kept the plates that I purchased as a result of not having to pay $100 to return the product.

As part of a home gym setup, I purchased some weights to round out my gym equipment. I have been going to gyms for nearly 20 years now, so I am very familiar with the types of equipment and the It was rubber coated weights that I wanted instead of the cast iron weights all over the place. As well, I'm looking for something in a reasonable price range. It is a good idea to use these plates. They work well along with an Olympic barbell, and I couldn't ask for anything else. The rubber coating on the plates makes deadlifting much less of a pain than cast iron weights (although bumper plates are ideal for these exercises). The openings in the plates make it easier to grip the weight when trying to load it onto a barbell Neither rubber coated nor all cast iron plates are indestructible, so only time will tell how long they will last. However, initial impressions are that they will last for quite a while. These weights are only abused by me when I do deadlifts. We were very pleased with the fast shipping. It arrived 3 days before the expected shipping date, and this was during the holiday season! As for the packaging, it was very well-done and had no scratches or damage. The 205 lb set is what I purchased. There's only one complaint I would log, and it's that coming out of the packaging, there's a slight odor to these plates and they're slick with some sort of grease This is noteworthy in other reviews and I hope it goes away. Until I am able to use them more and and if my first impression changes, I will update this review.

The rubber weights each have a distinct scent, as is known to everyone who purchases I own five of these weights, and I love them all. However, they die off pretty quickly after washing them, but they are the most durable. This is a very stylish gym set for a home that has exceptional quality. Xmark makes amazing products even if you spend an extra few dollars on them. I have used them every day and they have not been damaged in anyway. The FID heavy duty bench and EZ bar are among my favorite products from them. All of the products are of the highest quality.

The rubber smell on a set I bought a year ago didn't appeal to me But I did research and discovered that they must use sulfer when making rubber. There is no way to remove it because it is embedded throughout. It is inevitable that all rubber will smell this way. Allowing it to dissipate for several months is the best way to get it out. To use the short cut, put it in the oven for 8 hours at 200 degrees. That increases vapor pressure while expanding pores and softening them.
