However, I believe it is excessively expensive. I would have given it a five star rating if it weren't for the price.
I was expecting a stiff piece of plastic when I first ordered this product. I was surprised to discover that the hecostix was made of firm foam material when I received it. The foam is firm but not hard, so if you miss the catch, the impact won't hurt you, and the exterior is textured with hecostix-shaped stippling for easy gripping. This product was purchased as a training tool for my ten-year-old son, who plays Ultimate Frisbee. All three of my children (the other two are 6 and 5 years old) wanted to play the hecostix color catching game from the moment I took it out of the package. This product allows you to make your training as easy or as difficult as you want. I would recommend this product to anyone, regardless of age or skill level, who is looking for a fun and effective way to improve focus and hand-eye coordination.
It's a lot of fun, and you can't help but want to join in when you see other people playing it. My only issue is with the price, but I was able to get past it and purchase the item. I'm already planning on making a second one in a variety of colors to make it more difficult- Even so, if you spin it fast enough, it's difficult enough on its own!.
It's both entertaining and difficult! One was given to our sons for Christmas. Playing is something that the entire family enjoys. Each color was given a point value, and the game was won by the person who reached 11 points first. Our kids love watching their momma whoop her butts, even though it's not exactly what the instructions say to do.
This is something that both of my sons enjoy doing. They're constantly outside, attempting to trip each other up.
It is, without a doubt, a little pricey. When I first started participating in sports, a friend recommended it to me. We now use it on a daily basis. The design is simple, but it can be used in a variety of games. The grip is good, and it's still holding up after a few months.
