I advice you to run big and not to stretch. This seems to be a fairly long problem to me.

The quality of the product is poor

Your money will not be wasted. The quality of the product is poor. You should spend more and buy a shirt that can last for longer than two wears. In spite of the "try on" assessment of the shirts, I bought a dozen of these and had them silk screened with a business logo I designed for the owner of our business. So the cost of silk screening each shirt was $11 per shirt for me. It is also extremely thin and adheres to your skin despite all your best efforts to repel static electricity. A total waste of time.

I brought this last minute for a race that turned out to be warmer than I had anticipated

This is a great shirt, well made and with great details. While it rained during parts of the race, this held up very I found it to be thinner than many of my other running shirts, but I had no issues with it.
