Yes. I used to run and teach kickboxing in Vibram Five Fingers for years. Work your way up to it gradually, focusing on getting your feet and shins in shape first. Most people are unprepared to walk "without shoes" for any length of time unless they are barefoot. footers. It takes practice, just like any other form of fitness, to become effective and enjoyable.
I undo the Velcro, slide my foot inside, and pull the shoe's heel on. The Velcro is then reattached.
They do stretch slightly with time, but not significantly. If you wash them in the washing machine, they will tighten up again, though they will stretch faster than when they were new. I adore these shoes, but they must be comfortable.
In the sense that there isn't much fabric on top of the foot, I'd say they are. I normally wear a size 7 but wear a 39 in these. The arches are high and the number of them is eight. My second toe is slightly longer than my big toe, but the rest of my toes appear to be in good shape.

Vibrams are my favorite gym shoes, and I've been wearing them exclusively for the past 6 years. This style's minimalism is one of my favorites. It's as if you're wearing no clothes at all. I switched from KSOs to these because the old style is no longer available, and the new ones are too bulky. This is not a Vibram for beginners shoe! They provide very little support, and if you do not already have the muscles in your feet built up from wearing Vibrams on a regular basis, you risk injuring yourself. However, if you're only going to use these for yoga, you'll be fine; I weight train, do cardio, and even run in them. I'm an 8-year-old girl who wears a size 41. These are my favorite pair of Vibrams yet! I usually wear a size 5 to 9 in women's shoes, and they fit perfectly.
SIZING: I noticed while ordering that the size difference between what you choose here and what you get in the cart is significant, so I ordered true to size. rather than looking at the United States for sizing It's nearly too big as it is. (My pinky toe pops out when I curl my toes. ) It's not the shoes' fault; it's just that my toe is too short: )) - However, I'm not seeing what everyone else is talking about when it comes to the short strap. I have wide feet, and the strap is still long enough for me. FUNCTION: I ran 3 miles outside with my husky as the first thing I did. My feet felt fantastic, and the soft "patter" of my shoes on the ground was strangely encouraging and comforting. When I returned inside, I had completely forgotten that I was wearing shoes. With my training activities and everyday life adventures, I'm beyond excited to take these shoes to the next level.
I have several pairs of five-finger shoes - These are a little looser on the toes than my others, and the silver makes me feel like I'm going to paint myself silver and sell myself as a robot on the corner for money. A peculiar silver substance. strange.
I have six pairs of Vibram shoes and wear them all the time, but this particular pair was disappointing. Although the nude/pink color is lovely, it is easily stained and dirty. I wore them for one day and haven't touched them since because the material isn't machine washable, and the velcro strap across the stop of your instep is several inches too short.
It's as if it were made for you. This pair of Vibrams has proven to be the toughest I've ever owned. They've held up well after being machine washed and air dried once a week. They protect my feet from nasty contagious foot things that live on the mats and floor, and they add just a touch of protection to the bottom of the foot. I use them for martial arts, and they protect my feet from nasty contagious foot things that live on the mats and floor. There is no arch support or anything like that; it's just barefoot. They can be grippy, but not to the same extent as other Vibram soles. For things that require a lot of pivoting, I wear Dance Socks over these shoes, and they work really well together.
I work out every day and walk at least 5 nights a week for about 3 miles. I adore these for everything from yoga to weightlifting. Walking barefoot is one of my favorite things to do because it adds a layer of protection between you and whatever is lying on the ground, but it doesn't provide any cushion for walking on rocks or other hard surfaces. It's as if you were walking barefoot on them. br>br>Unlike the old vibrams that were bulky and made your feet sweat, these ones are perfect for everything from traveling (they take up very little space) to hiking (they were great on a 7-mile hike with no blisters). If you don't break them in before going on a long hike, you'll end up with blisters.
They're something I'd like to wear all the time. It's as if they're massaging my toes, and I feel much more grounded and powerful in them as a result. One thing that surprised me was how smooth the bottoms are (they're not completely smooth, but they're smooth). ) They're a little more slidey on wood floors than I prefer, but they have good traction on carpet and reasonably good traction on grass, gravel, concrete, and other surfaces. I like being able to splay my toes more as I walk, and I'm excited to wear them at my massage practice. br>My husband says they look like ballet shoes from afar.
I wasn't sure if these would look good on me, but they do! They have a great deal of flexibility when it comes to adapting to different types of feet. My feet adjusted in no time, and I wore them to church, the store, and even some walking around, though not very far because I was only running errands for the day. Sizing was a bit of a challenge for me. I discovered that 39 corresponds to a US size 8 1/2 to 9. In the United States, a size 40 corresponds to a size 9 to 9 1/2. Because the description failed to mention this, I ordered the larger size first; my left foot is larger than my right, and these are not at all uncomfortable! The only problem I have is that the second-place finisher is a woman. The shoe's fifth toes are exceptionally long. The fourth and fifth sections are particularly lengthy. Of course, because not everyone's toes are the same shape, this is a unique issue. They fit perfectly, even with my unusually long toes, and I adore them. I'm hoping to be able to purchase more because everything I really like is either discontinued or unavailable. I should get some supplies!.
