I work as a nurse and have had a great experience so far! Even with liquids on the floor, I was able to maintain my balance. It's also very comfortable. Make sure to look up how to tie shoe laces for your specific foot type. See Pinterest for more information. I'm going to buy these again.
These have been tested and approved to be slip resistant.

They are extremely comfortable and considerably less expensive than similar products. I broke my heel ten years ago and have been in constant pain since then. These shoes make a huge difference in terms of pain relief. They are well-fitting, but there is a break-in period. I received them on Monday and was able to wear them without any discomfort on Tuesday. I'm relieved that I didn't have to spend $200 on a good pair of work shoes. My previous pair lasted well over a year, and I wore them almost every day, both at work and at home. These shoes are absolutely stunning. br>This is what just happened. The shoe's sole has separated from the rest of the shoe. My son is gluing it back together; I'm not sure why it's so disjointed, but I'm going to keep the 5-star rating. Despite this, it's still a fantastic shoe. My first pair lasted more than a year, and I plan to purchase another pair. These shoes are absolutely stunning.
I usually purchase Avia shoes for my job, which requires me to be on my feet for up to 10 hours per day. These appeared as a suggested item and were a lot less expensive. I was in desperate need of new ones and was short on cash, so I took a chance. A MAJOR MISTAKE! They were comfortable and fit well while I was trying them on in my house. But then I wore them to work (I liken my job's movements to paying for an 8-hour basketball game). My feet, legs, back, hips, and everything else began to hurt after only two hours. They're stiff and don't flex with your feet. It was almost as if I were walking around in wooden clogs. They made me feel clumsy. I couldn't move at the end of my shift because I was in so much pain. Granted, I'm usually sore, but this was out of the blue. Having said that, these might be ideal for someone else. However, because I have plantar fasciitis, arthritis, and knee problems, these are a no-no for me.
I work as a mail carrier for the post office, so I walk a lot (12 miles per day). These were intended to be a backup pair. It doesn't have the same texture as memory foam. In any other shoe, I don't ever need a wide, and these were snug and narrow at the toe. I was nearly in tears halfway through the first day wearing them, so I changed into my old shoes. I figured it would take a while for these to settle in. I can't get through the day in them even after 6 days. These will no longer be worn.
Update: On October 6, 2017, I bought these shoes. On December 18, 2017, I had to go out and buy another pair. It's a pity that such a comfortable shoe tore so easily. These are still my favorite shoes. Hopefully, this new pair will last longer; otherwise, I'll have to look for a shoe that lasts more than a few months while still providing the same level of comfort. br>br>I adore these shoes. I bought four pairs of shoes, three of which were more expensive and did not fit correctly. I couldn't move by the end of a 10-hour shift. I was in excruciating pain in the balls of my feet. My feet haven't hurt in the least since I discovered these. Because of the good design, they provide excellent ankle support. I can't say enough about how much I like these. The memory foam inserts are not removable. br>br>There is only one thing to be aware of. However, I haven't needed to use my orthotics yet because the shoes are so comfortable.
I needed a nonslip shoe for work, so I bought these. The non-slip soles provide excellent traction on wet floors and are thick enough to keep you comfortable throughout the shift. However, I am extremely dissatisfied with the shoes' durability. I bought these in late July, and they're nearly unwearable now, four months later. These shoes have large holes at the ball of my foot and the soles are becoming detached from the uppers after only three or four weeks of wear since I purchased them. You're going to trip over the shoelaces because they're so long. They're of poor quality, but they'll suffice if you only need a pair of shoes for a few occasions. Overall, these shoes are not something I would recommend.
I'd buy six pairs if I could track them down again. The reviews for this shoe gave me hope. I figured it was worth a shot. br>br>There is no comparison! These shoes are clumsy, stiff, and take a long time to break in. The memory foam doesn't help much with the fact that these shoes aren't particularly comfortable. With a different orthotic, I was able to tolerate them better. They also have a masculine look to them and give your feet the appearance of being on a boat. br>br>Since some people seem to enjoy them, it's possible that my feet are protesting. Our feet have as much personality as we do. That said, I'm not particularly difficult to fit and don't have any specific foot issues, with the exception of some episodes of plantar fasciitis, which is exacerbated by this fit. The screams of the heels. They could be useful to you. br>br> If they do, the sizing is accurate, and the price is very reasonable. But, just so you know, I've delegated mine to things like mowing the lawn in the backyard. I'd be hobbling by the sixth hour if I had to work in these shoes for a 12-hour shift.
**UPDATED** These shoes were purchased in September; They have major holes in the front toes and are coming apart along the sides after less than a year. I've tried several insoles, but nothing seems to make them as comfortable as they were the first month. I didn't expect to need to replace them THIS quickly, even though I work 40 hours a week in a restaurant. I might buy these same ones again, albeit reluctantly, because they were fantastic for the first few months. br>br>I'm on my second week of wearing these and I'm already blown away. For the past few years, I've purchased Payless Safestep brand workshoes, and I'm kicking myself for not trying FILA sooner; these are far superior! I have very wide feet, so I ordered the wides as well as going up a half size, and they fit perfectly; I will definitely buy these again!.
