The "Clocked Time" can be easily entered into the Countdown timer and is accurate to 1/10 of a second. The SC, on the other hand, The stopwatch function on the 606W does not count down directly.

It does what it says on the tin, and the buttons have a nice tactile feel to them. The only issue I have is that when the countdown timer reaches zero, the watch starts chiming for 20 seconds - which is annoying. Extremely extravagant. I use this stopwatch to time R/C glider competitions, and usually around the zero-second mark, the glider pilot is focused on making a precise landing - This is not the time for a slew of bells and whistles. I'm thinking about dismantling the watch and turning off the alarm. Otherwise, this is a fantastic stopwatch.
This was purchased to help me run faster. It has all of the functions I require and appears to be well-made. made, but the instructions are difficult to follow. br>br>From my perspective, there are two issues. br>br>With multiple functions, it is critical that the instructions include clear illustrations and step-by-step instructions. Neither of these things apply to Robic's stopwatch instructions. Second, there appears to be no additional support on the Robic website, though you can download a PDF of the same one- The watch comes with a page instruction set with tiny print, but that appears to be all there is to it. More would have been nice.
While not the best shape or feel in the hand of the several countdown timers I've recently purchased to try out, this one had the one feature that I would have assumed was a no-brainer. Only these guys, it appears, are capable of creating a timer that does not begin beeping several seconds before the timer expires. Why would I need to know that time is running out if this is such a difficult task? What possible good could distracting me at such a crucial moment in the fight accomplish? When time is about to expire in a bout, it's amazing how many times someone launches an attack or performs some other action that necessitates the referee's complete attention. A referee does not require an electronic device that beeps incessantly when something is about to happen. So that I can concentrate, please let me know when it happens. br>br>All right, I'll stop ranting now. This is an excellent timer. The shape is a little odd, but so be it. Although only time will tell, it appears to be mostly sound. It'll have to be fairly impact resistant, because when the kids referee fights, they drop these things like butter on their hands. I'll do it later if I have anything else to say. br>br>Basically, it appears that I will be purchasing more of these.
For my entire 25-year coaching career, I had a Robic stop watch that was in perfect working order. During the summer, when I was on vacation, someone stole it from my desk. So I bought a new one, which I am confident will last at least as long as the old one.
I needed it for the race practice countdown, but I also like that I can get someone's lap times while the session is still counting down. Setting it up is simple once you've played with it for a few minutes and don't need to consult the manual. I adore it, and if I ever misplaced it, I'd immediately replace it with the same model. I'd say it's a great deal!.
This timer has all of the features that I needed: Timer, stopwatch, waterproof, and other features are available, but the user interface is a bit difficult to navigate. The timer can be set, but only after about 10-minutes have passed. 15 presses of the buttons It does the job and is accurate, but I had hoped for something a little simpler to set up. If the screen could have a backlight, that would be ideal. auto- and light- shuts down, but the battery lasts a long time and is easy to replace.
The timer does a good job in its basic functions, but it keeps resetting itself, usually while I'm using it (i. e. in the midst of a timed event, and so on). It's also not the most user-friendly countdown timer, and it can only be set for one time (i. e. (There aren't any intervals or anything like that. ) It's fine for casual use, but if you need something more dependable or the ability to quickly adjust your intervals/countdowns, keep looking.
DLG timing tasks are given a number of 707. All of the same functions are available, as well as the ability to recall previous flights. Perfect for Quick Turnaround tasks or for those of us who forget to write a flight on our time cards and need to recall the round flights for verification. br>br>This is the second Robic SC-II I've built. As a back-up, 606 was purchased. up to and including my first one, which is now three years old and still going strong! br>Now I can use one to keep track of the round window timer and the other to keep track of flight times. br>br>These Robic timepieces should, in my opinion, be standard equipment for all DLG competitions around the world! br>Reliable quality and optimal performance. br>br>Craig br>br>Craig br>br>Craig.
