I have tried both the old and new versions of the software and have come to the following It was a good version in the past This device vibrates loudly, has strong vibrations, and is easy to use. Unfortunately, it did have a few issues the battery cover would fall off frequently and the belt clip would easily separate from the unit if it were in your gym bag or if you knocked it. I'm glad to report that these problems seem to have been resolved in the new version. Having the belt clip removable means that it will not break in your gym bag, and from the look of the clip itself, it looks more solid, so it is likely to last a lot longer. I have used the new model for about 2 months, 6 days a week, without any issues. I hope that helps.

I ran hard one hot day and was on a long run, when the screen fogged over and the buzzer continued to ring. Putting the battery back in allowed the device to be silenced I did the rice thing for 24 hours. It has started working again, but I think it couldn't last much longer. Ideally, you should not have to go through this process.
In fact, I tucked the unit inside my shirt one day for a winter run (because I didn't have a lapel to clip it to), and it apparently soaked up sweat inside. Nearly immediately, about half of the display stopped working, and after that, the interval alerts were intermittent at best. I missed the window for return, so I tossed it and ordered another from Jeff Galloway's website. Even after I wear it inside my shirt, that one still works like a champ after being sweated on and rained on.

I believe it's a first generation model. And it still works just as well as the day I got it. After she stuck with the run even when it got difficult, I decided to get her her very own Gymboss timer as a reward. This Gymboss is so cute! Running and walking while running marathons and half marathons are kept in perfect time with it. My watch doesn't constantly require my attention since it has a loud alarm and you can also have it vibrate so that you can feel it go off while you are listening to music so you can feel it go off for the intervals you set as long as you wear it close to your skin. On the strap of my water bottle, I wear it on the back of my hand. There is a 0 setting which I like it's easy to set An alarm will sound after 10 beeps. As any longer would become annoying to me and those around me, I limit myself to two. Due to the rain during marathons, and the fact that I run in all types of weather, my first one lasted approximately a year. Unfortunately, the rain did it in in the end (but I'm glad it held on as long as it did). The thing I never thought of after the race is that I may have lasted longer if I had dried it out immediately after the race. This is my second one, and it's been two years since I purchased it. Besides the price and the light weight (takes one AAA battery) I am very pleased with this item. I'm going to buy a new one when my current one dies.

I have been diagnosed ADD and take meds, but if you've been in the same boat you know their only value is that they help, not that they are a Keeping a timer helps me stay focused on what needs to be done. As long as I set it at odd intervals, it just goes off whenever it wants to. A good way to get me to end a lagging meeting and recap action items is to hang up as soon as possible. In the end I picked purple and pink to make me joyful and to make me want to use it in an office but I thought white would be more medical and wouldn't stand out quite as much in an office setting so I chose purple and pink. Being able to attach a timer to my body is extremely useful because I tend to wander away from other pieces of timer equipment. Additionally, there is a very strong vibe in the air. It allows you to function in a discrete manner if you're in an office setting.
