It won't work if there's another shoot going on nearby. It's an excellent timer for solo photography.
The sound of a beep. It's a deafening noise. I have to cover it when dry firing in my room because I can't hear it without the ear pro on.
Yes, a delayed start can be set, and I believe the delay can be either a fixed time or a random start for a more realistic reaction shooting experience.
Yes. To begin, use a shorter tone, and to end, use a longer tone.

These timers are among a small number of similar products available, and there aren't many competitors. However, the housing does not appear to be very sturdy, and the buttons do not appear to be very intuitive; however, if you read the directions and learn the tool, this will suffice. This timer has excellent electronics and accuracy, and it is one of the most widely used timers available. While I wish it were more durable, the cost of research and development for such an upgrade would almost certainly be much higher, so I'll just say I'm happy with it and would buy it again.
"Slow is smooth," as someone wise once said. "Smooth is quick. " I purchased this to give my drawing/presentation a professional appearance. Being an armed citizen necessitates responsible behavior, which includes the ability to use firearms. Knowing how well you're doing in training and working to improve your performance will help you succeed if you're ever (heaven forbid) forced to use that skill at arms in a real situation.
Professional timer for competitions- 4
It's a good unit, but I was hoping to use it for dry fire practice. Yes, I changed the settings in several rooms, but I still can't pick up dryfire. The unit is a little bulky, but it does have a clip on it. I'll be returning to find something that can pick up dry fire, but if you don't mind shooting with a table nearby, go ahead.
It's simple to operate. It's set up in a way that I really like. After one 8-hour class, the wire to the 9-volt battery snapped. I was fortunate in that I had a simple backup timer. It's critical that my equipment functions as a full-time professional instructor. I didn't abuse it in any way. Manufacturing appears to have a problem with it.
I bought one of these timers because I needed a shot timer, obviously. When it arrived, I took it out of the box and discovered that it was made in America, but it appeared to be poorly constructed. Then I noticed that it was covered in what appeared to be small scratches. Because it was brand new, this irritated me. I ordered another one, and it had the same type of scratches as the first. I returned both and did not attempt either. I only gave them three stars because I didn't like how they appeared when they arrived. I didn't want to keep what appeared to be a used item when I thought I was getting a new one.
I've attempted to time my combat shooting using cell phone apps, but the results have always disappointed me. The ability to accurately count the number of shots was simply lacking. This timer has never failed to record the number of shots fired accurately. It's simple to operate and provides more features than I require. If you're looking for a simple and dependable timer, look no further. That concludes the discussion. It is something I strongly suggest.
It has yet to fail in daily use and has become a must-have accessory! I'm not sure how I ever managed without one as a firearms instructor! With this tool, a shooter can improve their performance in a variety of areas, including defensive, competitive, and recreational activities. Are there any that are better? Sure. Is this person capable of completing the task at hand? Without a doubt.
Easy to use, clear beeps, and simple to re-program as I shoot (I mostly use the two-beep feature). It will be very useful in practice for my requalification.
