In general, low-quality products are prone to damage Electronic devices these days are made in China, which is why they are so expensive. The fact that companies can offer devices like this for under $20 is always a surprise to me given that the device includes numerous sensors, a microcontroller, a color display, and several plastic housing pieces. This is the miracle of modern microelectronics in action!

This device allows you to rotate the screen so that even when you're not facing the screen, you can still read what you're reading. As soon as your finger touches the display in a vertical position, it changes from landscape to portrait. It will be horizontal if you place it on a finger of your left hand. With the right hand, it can be held on a finger, so it rotates 180 degrees so you can still read it when you do that. The feature is very useful and clever!.
It was just delivered to me today. In order to put batteries in it, I had to remove the cover. Cover is broken and the lock is not working. There are extra batteries on the back, and the cover is hard to get back in place after the battery is put in. Nothing blocks it from below, not even a strap or straps. As you can see, the clip parts used to hold the cover on to the body are very fragile. Although it will still work (and I could tape the cover to the body), this shouldn't be the way it starts out! This item was considered part of the non-returnable items category when I attempted a return. My Amazon account has been refunded after I made a chat with them. Thank goodness I was reimbursed at least. I wouldn't order it again though. I will look for a new one that is hopefully.
The item has just been received. It is not accurate when I get readings of 98, 87, and 92 when sitting still in a chair. As a result, I compared the results with one I had used for over a year and found it to be 98. The number is 97. Afterwards, my wife tried it to no avail and I used it as well. As long as you stay still, your oxygen levels will not change. It's a bummer that I can't return the item so I wasted $15. Get more customer support by spending more money.
