Fitbit makes the charger, so I'm guessing it's an Amazon exclusive. The named entry is used to identify who is selling or distributing the item.
It only works on the model it was designed for. A charger that has been poorly designed. I'm going to buy one last Fitbit.
Mine isn't covered in tape. It has an extra plastic support at the cord-to-charging-clip connection.
None of them will accept it. It is not something you should purchase.

I tried charging the Fitbit Charge 4 for the first time today (the return window has closed), and it does not work. I couldn't get it to stay in contact with the Fitbit Charge 4 long enough to charge it. I'm glad this was my backup charger because I wouldn't have been able to use the Charge 4 until I could find a replacement.
Genuine Fitbit that came in a sealed box and charged my Charge 4. It takes some time to get it connected properly, just like the one that came with my Charge 4. It appears to be a flaw in the design.
I received work from the charger. Every Fitbit I've purchased has a more and more incomprehensible charging arrangement, necessitating the purchase of all new chargers. The cords are too short, and the cradle is difficult to work with. This is the last Fitbit I'm going to buy.
Only one or two times has this method successfully charged my Fitbit Charge 4. It has been completely unusable since then.
I'm thrilled that FitBit improved the Charge 5's charging capabilities over previous models. It's so much more convenient to use a magnet! The charger itself is excellent, but the cord is extremely short.
Works in the same way as the original. It arrived promptly and was exactly as described. I misplaced my charger and needed to get a new one as soon as possible. Because my Charge 4 was still relatively new, I decided to spend a little more and get the FitBit version to ensure that everything worked properly. It functions in the same way as the original. As others have mentioned, it can take a little extra attention to make sure it's snapped in place before it can start charging, but that wasn't the case with the one I got out of the box.
It didn't work the first time I tried it, and the return period had expired. I should have put it to use right away to ensure that it worked.
It's not very effective. It does not always charge and does not click in well.
