It's about 20mm in length. On my Forerunner 35, it's a good replacement.
I'm not sure what the Garmin 235 is, but the watchband's width is a problem. These fit my Garmin Golf GPS watchband, which is 7/8" wide. To put them on, stretch it over the buckle (which is 1 1/8" wide) like a rubber band, and then fasten it.

A Garmin S20 golf watch is one of my possessions. The original fastener ring broke for me, as it did for so many other Garmin users. The original, I believe, has a seam that appears to come apart after tugging on it for a while, so I bought this pack, which did come with ten. You now have backups in case something goes wrong. You might be wondering about something. Is it necessary to unscrew the watch pin before putting on the new ring? NO! The new ring is stretchy and strong enough to easily slip over the clasp. There is no need for any tools.
After a little more than two years of use, the original fastener ring on my Garmin FR 35 failed. Because of daily use and flexing, the original ring broke. Initially, I attempted to repair the original ring with superglue. The packaging claimed that the glue could be used to repair rubber objects. It was a blunder on my part. Even when the bonded ring was left to set overnight, the glue only lasted about 24 hours. br>br>Next, I ordered these fastener rings, which I should have done first, and they looked exactly like the originals, so I'm guessing they'll last about two years each. That's a total of 20 years of useful life, or 22 years if you include the time it took to write this. In the package I received, the distributor included an eleventh ring. This is more than a lifetime supply for me because I doubt my Garmin will last that long. br>br>The fastener ring secures the loose portion of the wristwatch band; I'm glad I purchased them on Amazon, and I recommend them to anyone who needs (or may need) a replacement fastener ring for their Garmin watch.
I bought these to replace a fastener ring on my Garmin Forerunner 35 watch that had broken. It gets the job done! It's simple to put together, as it simply slides onto the watch band's end, and it works well. It's too early to say how long it will last, but this item comes with a ten-ring pack. If each ring lasts as long as the original Garmin fastener ring, the pack's overall lifespan will be decades.
made, but the size is excessive. The bands fit the Garmin Forerunner 35 perfectly. The wristband, however, kept flopping out due to the exact width of the band and the stretchy silicone - As a result, the goal is defeated. I went back to a different seller and bought smaller ones. Because the smaller band was more snug, the wristband no longer flopped out.
These are a great functional replacement for the one part of the watchband that has worn out. They would have been better if they were dark grey to match my Approach S20 band, but they are black; otherwise, they are a definite 5 star. Given my watch's black face, this is a good contrast. The price is reasonable.
This was an excellent repair for my Garmin watch band, and I have plenty of spares to keep me going for a long time. They appear to be more flexible than the original part, and the first ring has been in use for 5 months with no problems. 2 thumbs up!.
These fasteners have proven to be extremely effective. The Garmin band was fine, but when the fastener broke, I was about to buy a new one until I came across these. These are far more durable than the ones that came with the watch! The band used to slide around, but now it's firmly secured thanks to the new fasteners. I'm thrilled I came across these!.
Nothing is more aggravating than having your watch strap flail around or attempting to secure it with a rubberband. This is the ideal companion for my Garmin 35. It shows no signs of wear and tear even after a month.
