Questions & Answers

The battery lasts for approximately how long and how long does it take to charge up fully?

After the first 11 months of owning this device, my battery would last one night but not two I normally had to charge it every day, but I wasn't complaining. Don't buy, but don't give up! I have noticed that the battery life has drastically decreased over the past 11 months, and I spend less than 2 hours a night using it, which is useless because my oxygen levels are always great for the first 2 hours. I'm writing to complain about Wellue's failure to honor their 1-year warranty. Several of us have been arguing with these people for a month now, and if they ever replace this advice I will not follow The battery life was erratic when it was working, but it was pretty good when it worked.

The difference between Wellue Oxylink and this one? Where is the difference between the two?

You will have a difficult time answering this question because it is so specific to your situation. It's probably your best bet to go with the oxylink (1 minute data resolution) if you need something basic (focused on O2/only). In order to get more data and perform a professional analysis of data, the O2 Ring (4 second data resolution) is a better choice. When it comes down to it, I think most casual users will prefer the oxylink for the battery life. It would probably be a better choice for those who want more data and plan on reviewing data daily. I think it costs a bit more, though. really liked the O2 ring, but the battery lasted for only 12 hours. You must always charge it before wearing it,

How does it charge? Is it a USB port? Micro USB / USB Type-C Does it belong to a company or a private company?

USB port (not micro USB port) is used in this device.

My life was made better by reading this
4/5

However, I think it is necessary to have a better app and better instructions. A rapid drop in O2 may accompany a very high heart rate in some cases. I woke up frequently at night and had a very poor sleep pattern due to this. In a lab that charged me $ 10K and said I was just one point away from obtaining a CPAP prescription, I had a "borderline" apnea test. The only night they monitored me was the night when I really did sleep My ring demonstrates that sometimes I have a good night, and other times I've had really bad ones. **2) It appears to help to wake me up if I set the vibration setting. Using the default threshold of 88%, I was able to get my sleep down to about that point before I awoke. When I lowered the threshold to 75%, I began to see drops that went as low as Therefore, I believe that the vibration setting actually must work to awaken me, as I did awaken while it was vibrating at least once while I was awake. Android app and setup are a complete disaster. When it's possible to display the settings from the ring on the dashboard in real time, why can't it just log the data into a histogram in realtime? For some reason, I had a hard time figuring out how it actually gathered You need to follow these steps, hopefully they will be helpful to A) DO NOT USE Bluetooth to pair the device. There is no need to pair it. When it is paired, it will have to be factory reset. B) Charge the device on a USB port until you are ready to go to bed. There is little likelihood that it will last longer than an evening's B) Slip the ring on a finger and close it/reset the ring If still open, it will likely indicate the device is disconnected and will never be able to connect until the app is initially opened. d) Check that the O2 ring is connected and shows data (perfusion index needs to be at least 50% to get accurate measurement). If the finger you use needs to be repositioned, you may want to do so. *e) Set the vibration threshold and the vibration level. Using maximum vibration was just a matter of setting the volume. Sleep is also indicated in f). *g) When you awake, unlock the phone and make sure the app is open and on the history screen. I recommend taking off your ring immediately after you wake up. The countdown starts at 10 and will continue until the end. Do not expand the band at all, and keep it close to your phone. starts the data transfer of all the events gathered over the past 24 hours onto the app. You will be able to start a new activity once you expand it. It seems that unless the device's data is intentionally falsified, the combination of SpO2, Heart Rate, and Motion is about the most accurate indicator of actual events occurring while you're sleeping. My resting heart rate is usually around 60 BPM, however when I am experiencing some issue it zooms up to 95 BPM. In similar fashion, my SpO2 drops and a motion is detected shortly after.

I'll show all of this to my doctor, and recommend that he never again use the $10k per night (which isn't covered by insurance. OUT! IT WAS NOT GOING TO WORK! In addition to being sick with pneumonia prior to this ring, I also experienced a rash. Even so, I had a manual single shot pulse oximeter mounted in my chest that showed my SpO2 levels dropping into the 70s. That data will help you to know if you need to run to the emergency room if their SpO2 drops too low. Could you possibly make use of another "certified" pulse oximeter (no pun intended) that's on hand to verify the readings? As a lay person, I am not a doctor, and I believe this device says not to use it for any medical purpose. I know what you mean, but I still don't get it.

This is a gift for my husband who snores
5/5

I got the product as a gift for my husband who has postponed numerous appointments with his doctor because of his snoring for years. Earlier this month, he complained that he had a headache and did not feel In the middle of the night, it kept me up. If he stopped breathing for a long time I tried to wake him, but I couldn't keep an eye on him all As I searched online for a simple oximeter, I found this one. It is out of my price range. Then again, I suppose it doesn't matter if he's still asleep, as long as it wakes him up. He thought that it was one of the most wonderful gifts he had ever received. It's easy to put on and take off, and looks fancy. It is easy to see that the phone is saturated with O2. It was not expected that his saturation would be as low as 78% at An alarm of 80% has been set. I did not have to sound the alarm to wake him up. I love you. It is much easier for me to sleep now, and my husband feels a lot In view of the seriousness of the problem, we have also booked an appointment with a doctor right away. To prevent accidents from happening, we need to prevent them. Thanks to this O2 ring we learned the importance of taking.

We don't know yet whether Cpap will be necessary since we don't have any snoring or apneas! My Fitbit app and Snorelab app go hand in hand with this device
5/5

The nighttime wear of this item is my favorite. The results are very instructive. Write down the low O2 intervals and compare it with the results of your Snorelab device to see that the low O2 intervals coincide with stopped (apneas) on the Snorelab device. With Snorelab, you can take a recording of your snoring at the same time. It is very easy to use and is awesome. As soon as I realized their coincidents, I used my wife's cell phone to record my sleeping for the whole The result showed that I slept on my back whenever I experienced Low O2 levels and apneas. As a result of the device, I cannot sleep on my back anymore, so I no longer have sleep apneas. The happiest I've ever been. My snoring is also greatly reduced by a mouthpiece I wear. A sleep study was performed before I started monitoring all of this on my own, and it showed me mild sleep apnea on the first night and severe on the second night, and advised me to use a cpap machine, but I really wanted to avoid that option. In fact, I stopped using the cpap machine once I got to grips with this and am not going to use it again unless for some reason the Furthermore, I had read that drinking alcohol before going to bed increases the severity of sleep apnea that night, and this is After drinking, I was amazed at how much worse my snoring and apneas became. would not have figured out any of this without the help of my device. My oxygen levels are so much more stable now that I am able to get up in the morning feeling rested. In any case, I love this product and it definitely worth the money.

I love the O2Ring because it stops me from snoring and monitors me during sleep
5/5

It's only when something or some service gets a 5 out of 5 star rating that I write a review, and this O2Ring deserves a 5 out of 5. The O2ring vibrates if my blood oxygen drops below 90. After a few nights of using it, it has helped me to sleep on my side (and refrain from snoring as well). I tested this by disabling the vibrate alarm first, and my blood oxygen level did drop (when I slept on my back and snored). It took me a little while to realize that the iPhone app really does work quite well, though I had expected PC reports and CSV data saving capability to be so much more appealing. During that time, it has 30 minutes to complete the task. There are smaller zoom windows for 30 minutes, 1 hour, 5 hours, and 10 hours, and while zooming (2 finger stretch is not possible) quick scrolling is supported by swiping very quickly through the 30 minutes. You can see the world from a closer vantage point. Here is a review I hope will be helpful to.
