My height is 5'8" and I am 288 pounds. I bought a 2x and it works so well. Compression is not restrictive and you can move freely. I was so sweaty I wish I had bought more.

The way it makes me sweat really appeals to me. What makes me a little concerned is the wear and tear. As much as possible, I try to wash it by hand and allow it to air dry to reduce damage to the material as soon as possible.
