The ruching style shorts have been all over the place, and I wanted to try them. Even though they may not actually lift your butt, they certainly give a great impression because of the puckered seam in the middle. The size XL I ordered is a size 14, which I am currently wearing. When I sit, they feel a little snug around my legs, since I wear them a lot around the waist and thighs. I am still trying to lose weight, so I'm sure this will change soon. I was hoping for a smoother band, but I found one that is nice and smooth. Besides not being visible through my dress, they can be worn under a suit as well. I just love how comfortable they are and what they do for my mom bod.
